  1. 20% down from last year and basically no booster charges.  I don't need to say anything else, the complete lack of a fan base says it all.  usf's football program is on life support and after another three or four win season coupled with a resurgent UF team, a solid FSU team and a UCF team that very well could move on to P5 status, usf's program is all but dead.

Nothing you can post, nothing you can spin, no merging of threads, no trashing of anything UCF can change that.

  2. Seat pricing:

    http://www.ucfknights.com/tickets/2015-football-season-tickets-dev.html

I have four club seats, I know the price.

Scroll down to see the seat prices and the donation ( partial tax deduction) required to buy them for the year.

I don't think they advertise the club seat costs, but what he quoted sounds right. I have two club seats in the new East Side Club. I wanted to try it for a year, then I may move back to the other side.

  3. Since Brad has decided to only allow me to post here I will leave this here. Triple L, you want to discuss UCF ticket sales with a very slanted view but don't want UCF fans to be able to respond to your views so here are the facts.

First usf season with jackets are down this is not news, what is news about it usf did away with their booster requirements. Let's compare apples to apples shall we.

50 yard line club seats at usf total as low as $650 per year

50 yard d line non club seats at usf for $500 per seat.

50 yard line club seats at UCF are $2,500 per seat.

50 yard line non club seats at UCF are $562 per seat

Sideline club seats for usf range from $250 - $400 per seat per year

Sideline non club seats at UCF range from $265 - $500 per seat per year

Endzone seating is similar for both.

Now here is the rub, there are 12,000 club seats available for usf fans for $650 per seat, there were 800 club seats for UCF and I his year there will be around 1,500.

The simple fact is UCF games are more expensive, much more expensive.

Now let's also discuss your view on opponents. Last year usf had Maryland, NCSU, ECU, Houston and UCF all at home, ECU was ranked #19, UCF in the other hand had BYU as their only decent team at home. In 2013 usf had Miami and Louisville at home. UCF had South Carolina, Rutgers and usf at home. I could do this for every year and it's the same story, usf has had better home schedules due to either conference affiliation or the desire for teams line fsu to play at Raymond James.

The facts are in front of you and you can spin them all you want but reality is it costs more to go to UCF games yet more people are willing to pay more to see lessor opponents.

Facts?? I stopped reading right here because you apparently don't know what the **** you're talking about ....

50 yard line club seats at usf total as low as $650 per year

50 yard d line non club seats at usf for $500 per seat.

And I'm not believing **** what you say about Kanigit pricing unless you provide links ...

You're a clown who uses this board to hide from reality. Why merge threads, can't handle facts?

Good move, brad and Trip L, I would have moved it to this thread if I were you as well.  Don't want too many people to see what usf's true accomplishments are.

Now see, that's it right there. Everyone on this board is fully aware of what USF has and hasn't accomplished .. and for the bad stuff, we have our own posters, like Slick, who are more than willing to point them out. That means all your enlightening is really of no use to us. What your posts do serve as, though, is a masturbatory, cathartic function for you .... making you feel better because a freaking decade ago you came over to our board talking **** and were treated harshly, and rightly so ... So please, continue to try and teach us mean boys a lesson but it will have to be in this appropriately named den.

Yes we didn't win a Big East conference title.  But many thought the wins outside the Big East were bigger for that stage in the program's development.

Yes UCiF won the American Athletic (CUSA 2.0) and they should be happy.  It's an accomplishment for them.

We could win the AAC Conference and its still a bad joke.  Just a difference in perspective.  Small time UCF looks at it as billboard worthy.  Not surprising.

Those "outside wins" do players get rings for them, does the school get trophies for them.  Hey UCF beat Alabama, I don't think you will find too many UCF fans that reminisce about the win, not when UCF fans can look to four conference titles and a BCS bowl win.  So usf beat FSU in a year they went 6-6 in the regular season and had losses to BC, GT and Clemson as well.

Be honest with yourself brad, there is bools fan that would not trade places with UCF today, to deny it would be a lie.

  6. That was pretty neat but this was cooler ... and more recent:

    JOACOZLPDHETFPS.20150625223603.jpg

    From The Oracle:

The final standings of the 2014-15 Learfield Director’s Cup were released Thursday, and while USF led its conference for the first time in school history, the accomplishment felt more like Rocky winning the Capitol One Mascot Challenge than a true reflection of USF’s standing in the AAC.

Now I must congratulate usf on Men's soccer, Mens and Womens Tennis, I'll keep Football, Softball and Womens Soccer.  I think you and Manshaft should hold another presser.  Also, what is a football player in that picture, please.

  7.

Karma, I think you accidentally pissed on your own argument and posted trophy pictures to make up for it. Even UF and FSU have had attendance issues in recent years. Don't take it personal.

Nope, I was right to show the trophies. Triple L was trashing the billboards as a desperate marketing campaign after what he called a horrible attendance year last year. Are schools having issues with attendance, sure but for different reasons. If UCF had good teams coming in attendance would be fine, UCF's best opponent last year was BYU on a week night. Now usf had Maryland, NCSU, ECU and UCF at home, no excuse for averaging under 30k let alone 20K.

    Still love the billboards!

We averaged almost 31K, in the midst of our worst years ever ....  only 6K less than UCF, in the midst of their best years ever. Show the trophy cases again ... It's the only case you have right now.

Not so fast....by their calculations they won the "best program" in the mighty AAC, too.

Karma **** himself on this one.

tell me brad, what has usf ever won?

    This thread ...

Wow, maybe you can have another one of these:

    img_1223.0.jpg

  8. Not sure why anyone would call out a UCF billboard after this fiasco. USF+Billboard.jpg

complete opposites between the two.  UCF's billboard is representing what UCF has achieved, usf's billboard was an achievement only accomplished in the eyes of idiots who run certain aspects of the university.  Not to mention I'm pretty sure usf did not have the right to use the logo's of the other schools.

Ahh triple, know this, I called usf football a house of cards ten years ago.

    Link?

I'll vouch for him .... even an idiot knows that programs have down cycles. It was just a matter of time ... although, funny thing is he was saying that before we played them the first 4 times. He'd been pretty quiet after that until recently

Not surprising that he went into hiding for the better part of a decade.  HIs name should be "Vermin" rather than Karma.

Not sure why anyone things I went in hiding, why would I do that?  Let's see usf builds their program on the back of very questionable recruiting, transfers that dodge the rules due hardship waivers, APR scores so low that other schools that received them lose scholarships, recruiting such questionable kids that even usf put into place an administrative oversight group to review incoming football players, $10 tickets and free giveaways for anyone that bought season tickets, which were less than $100 a year, even in the good sections and on and on.

usf better hope that they never get an on campus stadium because if they did, usf would struggle to get 15,000 to a game.  I knew many people that used to go to games because they could not get Buc's tickets and wanted to attend games in the new, nice stadium.  Now that the Buc's stadium is old and Buc's tickets are easy and cheap to get, you see the "Tampa Football fan" not going to usf games.  Let's face it, usf does not have a real fan base because they never built one up.  usf jumped into CUSA and then into the Big East without winning anything, a couple good years with usf playing lose with the rules and usf had couple good years.  Truth is, usf has never won anything of significance, so hold on to those four wins over UCF, it's only been 2,534 days.  Enjoy

No, usf averaged under 20,000, sorry if the facts get in the way of your narrative.

Attendance down: Actual attendance for the football team's season finale Friday against UCF at Raymond James Stadium was 27,368, according to the Tampa Sports Authority.

Now for the bleak news: Only three times in seven home games this year did actual attendance eclipse 20,000. The average — 19,317 — was USF's worst since 2001 and represented a decrease of more than 1,000 fans a game from '13 (20,379).

Attendance talk from a fan of team that is barely making the Div 1 minimum requirements in attendance.  Notice I said attendance because if it were on the field performance well, usf would barely be making 1-aa.

Thanks for making my point, dip****. Comparing apples to apples, the year following our "pinnacle", we averaged 12K more in announced attendance than you clowns did following yours, which I will admit was a much higher pinnacle ... that is a joke. Pointing out our attendance woes during the darkest hours of our program does nothing to change how pathetic your attendance last year really was.

And please provide a link for your c&p info. Thank you.

And you're too freaking stupid to realize that those were never real usf fans.  How do I know, because usf can't draw flies now.  Fan bases show win or lose.  Oh and I know that you're not too smart so I will help you out, that bold number you show us, its not real, actual for 2008 was 37,625 what UCF reported this past year.

Now triple fool, I do want to take it easy on you because you are a bool fan.  You realize its 2015 right, your living almost a decade in the past.  Let me bring you up to speed on usf football.

So you guys still have to advertise since no one outside of a 30 miles radius even knows who you are?

Remember when we had a home game in your empty rented stadium last time we played?

    https://youtu.be/_8JKgFEvTDo?t=23

Remember when you played in your own half empty stadium so many times your coach had the school paper beg students to come to the games?
    I do.

But it's like that old saying goes. "Better to play in front of a half-full on-campus stadium than have no on-campus stadium at all." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

It reminds of another quote I once heard:

    "You can't kill players."

    - Oscar Wilde

    Ah, dead player joke.

You have as much class as USF has conference football titles.

JTrue forgets the name Keely Dorsey.

Was he the one who's family was screwed out of millions of dollars or the one who's family didn't sue the university?

That is the one that dies in the usf weight room while the team was working out.

Remember when USF seniors took turns wearing Dorsey's #10 throughout the 2009 season? I thought that was a nice tribute. Refresh my memory, what did UCF do for Plancher? They did do something for him, right?

Yup, his number 28 was put on the each end of the field for the entire season.  There were patches not he helmet and moments of silence throughout the football season.  I'm sure you would not know that because you are just trying to throw the young mans death at UCF to somehow offset the pathetic state of usf football.  Oh if only usf could go back to the days of slapping players and questionable recruiting.
