So apparently he decided to get in on the conversation for our game this week on ESPN.com

Didn't find anything in Orlando, so instead i made a trip to the USF campus, awesome stuff there.
-
Anyone know anywhere in Orlando that sell bulls gear?
-
At the end of the day baylors and tcus out of conference schedule did them in period
No it didn't. Losing to WVA did Baylor in. If either had been undefeated they would be in over Blowhio State.
WVU is a lot better then VT and it was a road game. This was about the name on the front of the jersey. If Texas was in Baylors place would they be left out?

I think we are factoring recent wins and losses way too much. Do you really think the PAC 12 added Colorado because of their recent winning? It's all about the TV money. People like winning, but they like money more.

Florida is a natural market for BIG 12 expansion. Florida is still a growing state like Texas and is third state in US population-wise with 20 million residents. Conferences expanding need to look out to future like 20+ years and exponentially growing alumni bases at USF and UCF make a lot of sense for BIG 12.
The thing is, they can take their time. The Big 12 knows we're not going anywhere anytime soon.
We need them more then they need us. Only a few P5 conferences, but plenty of teams wanting to get it in one.
-
There are no more OOC games against P5 coming after 2016. Big12 commish just admitted playing G5 teams hurt Baylor and TCU and was why they didn't make the playoff.
Depends on their OOC schedule. For EXAMPLE: If USF went undefeated next year with our schedule, then we would be in for sure. Just depends the OOC and how the AAC does in their OOC games. And by no means am i saying that we are going undefeated, I am just using our schedule for example.
And no team from the AAC would ever have a chance even in an 8 team scenario.A 12 team playoff this year (top 4 get 1st round byes) would have been pretty awesome:
#1 Alabama plays winner of #12 GA Tech and #5 Baylor
#4 Ohio State plays winner of #9 Ole Miss and #8 Michigan State
#2 Oregon plays winner of #6 TCU and #11 Kansas State (rematch, who cares)
#3 FSU plays winner of #10 Arizona and #7 Mississippi State
Even if they flipped the seedings of K State and Arizona to keep the matchups from being rematches, they're good games. I would like this setup. Even an 8 team would be fun as hell. Doing the math, even if they did a 16 team playoff, out of 128 FBS teams, that's the top 12.5%.
SEC has already said no nonP5 games after 2016.
BIG going to a 9 conf game schedule.
I would say there MAY be a chance that teams that already have G5 OOC games scheduled would keep them, but most likely not.
That's not true. SEC teams already have them schedule. Not going to buy all of those games. AAC is going to have make most of their opportunities they do get though.

I love it when people come on to a thread, read the last post and think they know what they are talking about. Thanks!
Care to elaborate?

Think everyone needs to put this into perspective. Obviously they didn't play good last night, but its a part of growing pains and if it wasn't for foul trouble we probably make it really close. I think it was a lack of depth that showed against team that is has a good shot to make the NCAA tournament. That's the difference between a team on year 1 of a coach and a team on year 5 with a coach.
Yep, depth is the glaring weakness for us IMO. I expect our conference foes to try & exploit it by doing the same as 'bama--get us in early foul trouble. Turnovers & FT % can be improved a little easier, but changing our strategy to avoid foul trouble means reducing the scrappiness & energy that makes this team so entertaining and hopeful. Gonna be interesting...
You can be scrappy and have tons of energy, just have to play smart and learn to defend without fouling. Something a lot of kids don't have to learn until college level.

Ha, off field problems. That's the story all-right. Ask folks who have been around what the real story is. Long before his 'off field' problems, people were lobbying for his head on a platter because he hadn't won a national championship yet. Additionally he had rubbed the administration the wrong way mainly because he wasn't living up to the standard of a typical Genshaft lackey (He had be hired under Betty C's admin). It was his off-field problems that gave them the basis to 'fire' him.
Don't even know what this has to do with the topic of UAB anyways. I'm sure there are plenty of other threads that you can go whine on about this topic.

Well maybe someone needs to make that website.
Understand that but i don't want to sit here and go through roster and make a projected depth chart. Wanted to see what else other teams have as well. Not doing that for every team.take the 2014 roster, subtract the seniors and add the incoming recruits.
No, what you want doesn't exist in any reliable location. To figure it out you're going to have to manually update the rosters yourself.
If there was a demand, there would already be one ...
That's what they all say until it someone else makes a ton of money off it.

Complaint 1) Not our fault, Bobby Paschal is a horrible coach, lets fire him
Complaint 2) Not our fault, Seth Greenberg is a horrible coach, lets fire him
Complaint 3) Not our fault, Jim Leavitt will never get us to the next level, lets fire him
Complaint 4) Not our fault, Robert McCullum is a horrible coach, lets fire him
Complaint 5) Not our fault, Holtz is a horrible coach. lets fire him
Complaint 6) Not our fault, Doug Woolard is a horrible AD, lets fire him
Complaint 7) Not our fault, Stan Heath is a horrible coach, lets fire him
Complaint 8) Not our fault, Lelo Prado is a horrible coach, lets fire....what we can't afford it? Fine lets make him work somewhere else.
Actually Leavitt had some off the field problems involving hitting a player that really lead to his termination.

Like this?
Go ahead and turn that into a depth chart and then do that for every other team our schedule?

You do realize that this is NOT correct right? They have Davis, McFarland, Welch, Watson ect.. listed. All are seniors and finished here at USF football.
I realized that after. Now asking for a friend who could direct me to the right place.

Anyone know somewhere that puts out future rosters?

Isn't it the University's decision to end football? How would any sort of legal action force a school to continue to fund a losing proposition?
By cutting off funding, which the Regents control.
Can't afford a football program without money
But who would be the one to take this to court since UAB is a satellite of UOA?
-
There has to be some way to appeal UAB's decision? Hopefully somebody brings suit and gets at least a stay of execution.
Are there any judges in Alabama that didn't go to UAT?
Don't think there is much of a chance for UAB. They also did the same thing to UAH hockey, but it has since returned. One person that could completely change the situation is Nick Saban. Whatever he says goes. They worship the ground he walks on. Anyways 12 of 15 BOT members are UOA graduates and from what i have heard, most of them are afraid of Bryant Jr.

Our football program is struggling, but at least we are not here.
Feel terrible for the kids and coaches. They work way too hard for this kind of treatment, especially after winning 6 games this year.

^^^ Link above to a petition to support UAB football. Help support the UAB program because i would hope someone else would do the same for USF football if we were in this situation.

Just looked at his situation stats and from our 1 yard line to the our own 40 yard line Mike White is a 59% passer, rest of the field drops to 43%. I know it's normal for there to be a difference, but that is quite a difference.
-
I'm sorry, but all the coaching in the world can't fix a QB missing a wide-open receiver by 2 to 3 yards.
if me and apis are in agreement! well does anything else need to be said
I don't see him missing that many open receivers underneath, because his eyes stay fixated down field on one target. He can make the underneath guys when he looks there first.
He was 11/25 (44%). Unlike other games, I don't remember that many drops and on some of the misses, the guys were open by a few yards
Not saying he does not miss open guys, but most of his misses are down field or when he is under heavy pressure.
Do we really not know our bowl?

There is no reason for anyone to go to this. Birmingham isnt much of a draw and Texas Tech definitely isnt either.
