Perhaps, he was being coy with me, but he gave the impression that it was not imminent and that it would likely take place in the spring.

I was somewhat surprised by his response, since recent articles, I had read, said that the B12 was looking to finalize its teams within the next month.

 

 

Don't forget about the NDA. He can't give information or that could potentially end things. 

Man this was the best I've ever done at one of these predictions, but it looks like there are a ton of folks who were really close. We either have a lot of smart people or great guessers.

Are you missing Nate Godwin?

I'm not sure if this has been asked, but does anyone think Jeff Vinik would be willing to $upport USF's efforts in trying to get into the BIG12?  I'm thinking like Fedex is supporting Memphis. Just wondering if there would be any potential interest, or if he's even been asked. 

I haven't received an email yet. I'm also wondering if I can get a football poster mailed with them.

These look great!  Any idea of when they will be mailed?

I'm definitely pumped about this season. Phil's bad stock market indicator has me a little worried. He's pretty accurate on those type of things. I think our biggest challenges will be dealing with the hype and confidence. Couple that with the fact that teams have tape on us and will not be overlooking us, and things could get rough. 

Needless to say, I think our biggest game of the yr will be at Cincy. It's a huge trap game. If we beat FSU, can we stay grounded and focused for a tough Cincy team. If we lose to FSU, can we pick it back up in conference play. That game will tell the season.
