USF:Tight end Ben Busbee, of Mobile (Ala.) McGill- Toolen High, verbally committed to South Florida Sunday, USFBullseye.com reported.

Busbee (6-4, 240) is USF's 22nd commitment. Busbee was one of seven recruits who made officials visits to USF this weekend.

Busbee earned Class 6A honorable mention all- state honors. He also finished fourth in the discus and 10th in the shot put at last year's state track meet.

Busbee is only the third of USF's 22 commitments who aren't products of Florida high schools.

He is not in the databank of Rivals or Scout and therefore has not been assigned any stars.

McGill's next drive was nearly identical, as all but two of the 13 plays were on the ground. The one pass completion was a 45-yarder from Foster to tight end Ben Busbee to reach the Viking 9. Three plays later, Foster scored on a 5-yard run and Vellion's PAT made it 28-0.
