I think it's going to be a bad turnout...FAU is not a big draw and we are coming off a thumping by UAB. That kind of took all the wind out of the sails.

The expected attendance for the Alabama game proves that Tampa will come out for USF games when we play opponents with popular appeal. The American conference no longer features any of those.

True, but USF has a large number of students. Is it 50,000 now ( I am not sure) with most living in Tampa? Also a large number of alum living all over the United States and all over the world. I

It appears we are in a conundrum , we need to get in a better conference to save the program but we can’t get into a better conference because we are awful and haven’t shown we are worthy of being in

Yeah and plus the weather may have rain coming through.

It was probably going to be bad regardless. The coming off a thumping can at least be used as a somewhat plausible excuse to the team ... Wild card, though, is it is Homecoming, so maybe it'll top Rice.

If you look at ticket master, the home side looks like it is 80% sold out, away side... eh

Join the ACC and that won’t be as big an issue. We are in a conference where away fans don’t travel well. Our attendance would easily double in the ACC.

Besides FAMU and Bama, this should be the one other game we get a decent amount of away fans....should be...

Problem is FAU isn’t that good either. If both of us were doing well the attendance would be better. Hopefully the attendance is decent

I don't have real numbers, but I do know quite a few people who are planning on going who haven't been to a game yet all year.  Partially because its homecoming.
