3D Printers have the potential to become a mainstream household appliance. I know people who think that claim is absurd, but I think consumers would accept the lower long-term price and convenience once they get used to the idea.

Some-including the announcers mentioned in this thread-apparently do not want to give him the respect he deserves. But, I think DeDe Lattimore will get drafted. He was easily one of our best players this year-remaining consistent, getting some big plays, and never being a liability-and should get an opportunity in the NFL.
-
Seattle probably should not overpay that much money. The Mariners do not have nearly unlimited wealth like the Yankees and Red Sox.

We beat a bad Alabama team. Lets not start pumping up a pretty limp basketball squad so we can all start slamming the coach when our inflated expectations don't touch reality.
Of course expectations should remain low. But, I think we should be excited about the win. In athletics, Alabama is Alabama-even outside of football. And, we emotionally need to feel good about something in our sports.
Go Bulls!

Worse, we're losing Lattimore, Giddens, Forte and Mims. And Salinas. D takes some hits. Hope Lynch stays.Nothing that has happened give us any hope that things will be any different next year. Nothing. This year has been a complete and total failure. Taggart gets a failing grade for this debacle. He would have passed if this team had shown any improvement whatsoever. How can u not improve from game 1 to game 12. Fail.
I also hope Lynch stays. Not only do we need him, I think he would benefit from another year of development.

We really needed this win. This helps the basketball team, and fans immediately after the ugly loss at Rutgers.

I have gotten harassed for wearing my USF shirt, and no longer have any positive expectations. But, I am never giving up on USF. The Bulls will always be my team.

The penalties have gotten ridiculous! They have allowed Rutgers to finish drives with touchdowns. It is hard to have faith in the football team's future.
-
If Louisville was not joining the ACC, I think they would pursue Charlie Strong. Maybe they will consider an SEC assistant coach like Kirby Smart or NIU's head coach.
-
Next year he will be competeing with Mariota and Winston. This year he has a really good chance at being the 2nd QB taken behind Bridgewater.
He seems like a smart kid. I bet he goes pro.
Good for us if he does.
Good point. He might be a surprise 2014 first round pick like FSU's QB EJ Manuel earlier this year.

Excellent! Research is a core metric in prestige to me. I am happy to see the progress USF has made in the research community.
I know people like to underestimate USF's academic profile. But, #43 in the nation and #2 in Florida for research is not a borderline community college "commuter school."
Go Bulls!

Hopefully the indoor practice facility gets built reasonably soon. It is a good small step for a possible on-campus stadium in the future,
if circumstances improve. It would also keep us competitive in recruiting and having more practice time than we otherwise might have.

Case in point last year with skippy doo. On 4th and 1 and don't recall the game. Players asked him to go for it. His response was no if u wanted u would have got it in three. Playing not lose sucks. Coach Taggart the cure for this teams apathy created by Bobby Bouches coach Skippy "hug me don't bite me" Holtz
Skip Holtz took a quarterback kneel down with at least 2 minutes left against UF. They ran up the score, and he refused to even try to reduce the deficit.

4th and 2 inside the 10, offense unable to execute, UCF drives the length of the field, helped by an unsportsmanlike penalty on our defense. Easy to criticize after the fact, but in a low scoring game, why not let your most solid player tack on 3 more points. Also, how long will it take for Taggart to fix the penalty problem? Seems there is no sign of improvement?
I agree. I thought we should have kicked a field goal.

Good point. We cannot afford a decent on-campus stadium with our recent lack of success and financial losses. While it is technically not a factor pertaining to building our own expensive stadium, we also have to deal with diminished respect from non-USF fans. A stranger with Duke gear was unnecessarily telling me about our decline, for crying out loud.usf needs to have a winning program and move up in class
who in their right mind would spend 100s of millions of dollars for an on campus stadium for a program that doesnt play in highest level of competition
We should hold our ground financially first in a mid-major conference. As it is expensive and would require membership in a major conference, a very excited and engaged fanbase, and/or probably wealthier donors, an on-campus stadium should probably be among the least of our worries right now.

Defense starting to look gassed. Can't hold up forever
Earlier during the past drive, ESPN compared time of possession. Louisville had 33:56 minutes, while we have fewer than 13 minutes. More time has been taken off the clock on the same drive, so the disparity is probably even larger.

Fast food mentality, wants it NOW.
AGREED
I would think you of all people would not view beating an FCS and FAU as wanting it all NOW. My how things have changed at USF where getting your asses beat at home by the likes of McNeese St. and FAU and 0-12 on the horizon is completely acceptable.
I do not want to join the argument, and take a stance on the broader discussion. But, your specific point is valid. There is a difference between simply rebuilding as a reasonably analyzed past USF, and getting humiliated by an FCS team and FAU at home-with no safe expectation for even a 1-11 record. Merely wining those games is not the equivalent to a road to a BCS Bowl.

Killed our program now tweeting and making fun of our billboard about the big 4 in fla
It is ridiculous for him to obsess over that. It was about four years ago, and a different context.
-
Holtz may have had Woulard along with at least Griffin of the WRs that left BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER, time to face reality. All the treating of FIU,FAU and UCF as not being in the same class, being inferior, has come back to haunt us.
I agree we could never have ever said they were in a lower tier at any point in our history. But, to be fair, is the context not different? The Big East-now the American Athletic Conference-was a permanent Automatically Qualified conference, and the USF football program has deliberately self-destructed. Not to provide excuses, but what was effectively a conference demotion and perhaps negligent coaching have changed the circumstances of the team.

UT only danced with the ACC in an attempt to gain leverage to force the PAC to accept the LHN. There is ZERO chance any school from the states of Texas or Oklahoma will join the ACC. Might as well join the MWC to face similar SOS.Texas will you be in the ACC is number 16 just like Notre Dame now is 15 as a Quasi Indy or in the b1g conference, imo
ACC works because the Longhorn Network in ESPN NFL games against tech and TCU Baylor
The MWC offers less money and exposure.

The B12 was also recently approached by 2 schools that are not happy with their current situation. A simple talk though nothing more.

Big12 may not be as interested in the ACC teams they once were even if they become available. Bigger fish to fry.

The Viability of the ACC GOR is contingent upon the creation of the ACC network. Pay close attention to what's going on with that

If these 2 were even remotely serious it would turn college football completely inside out.
Who knows if this guy is worth a lick (people have posted his tweets before) but my complete uneducated guess is these 2 teams are Pac 12, and really, not going to help us either way...
Apparently MHver3 is afraid of losing his following and becoming irrelevant. He is clinging for the slightest hope (of the Big 12 eliminating another AQ Conference), and even repeating himself verbatim.

I found a rumor that the University of Houston is going to the Big 12.
I know it is not the most thorough or comprehensive evaluation for a conference expansion candidate, but Nate Silver's ranking of UH's fanbase size at #112 makes me wonder about the logic.

Bottles has more upside than Bridgewater. I'm not worried about Lousyville, I'm worried about South Carolina and Clowney.UCF. No homer, just my view. Bortles at QB is difference. That is all.
Better'n Bridgewater?
Cards are the consensus favorite, but I'm still hoping my Bulls find a decent QB to transfer in and take over...
Bridgewater is probably better than Bortles, but I think UCF can pull off the upset. Going out on a limb, I think you will. I also see Cincinnati and possibly Rutgers upsetting Louisville.

Future member? Charlotte has not even played a game of football yet.

I think it should be Teddy Bridgewater.
