Let's just take both. Can never have enough star qb's.

Andy Drukarev â€@StanfordRivals
I've confirmed that #Stanford outside linebackers coach Lance Anderson has been offered the #USF DC job. He hasn't decided whether to accept
Appears to have zero Florida connections. Something tells me that no one wants this job. WOW.
you realize he was named national recruiter of the year by scout in 2012 right? He landed 4 five star players last year. WT brings the Florida connections that he needs to be a successful recruiter here. This would be a great hire.

Brissett is probably better than woulard.

What taggart has done to recruiting in Tampa is crazy...he's shaking this whole thing up....and it bodes very well for us
welcome to the new "U"

The sun dome renovation was $36 million. Hard to believe a $20 million football stadium would work for a program this large.
-
I would rather keep the agreement at Ray Jay. $1 million per year for an NFL stadium with capacity to 66K is a lot better than financing a $350+ million stadium. Though I do need to add that the current interest rates (around 1-2 percent) make this an ideal time to move forward with an OCS if that's the way they want to go. I wouldn't worry much about conference realignment talk with our long-term strategic positioning. We'll have a home in a quality conference if we provide a quality product.

I think the ACC will move quicker and accept a few BE teams, including us, because of this mess. Probably won't happen until next year though.

based upon what? Hope Coach T knows about this site and is monitoring!I think aw, Travis Johnson, and Collins are coming to usf.
Just a gut feeling. Sorry, I should have done a better job explaining that this was just my opinion to avoid confusion. I think these three are superb fits for Coach Taggart's system. USF is the new "U" because of this hire.

For being the best beat writer in the nation. I enjoy your columns and insight.

I also think he snags a 4 or 5 star RB right away.
-
Here is why you go after Taggart and give him 3 to 4 years, recruiting who comes back into picture with him as coach.
Rodney Adams - UCF lean who is interested in WKU
JoJo Kemp - Right now trying to find a serious offer other than USF - Pitt, Neb, UK, WVU (RB is filled so little chance)
Ashantii Woulward - Right now still a NC St lean but would need to be a more dual threat then he is now, and with Taggart he has Harbaugh ties (and you can see his dad is driving the bus kinda like Tayh Boyd a few years ago)
Jeff Badet - reenters the picture because UL only has a few spots to fill and once James Quick commits hes out anyways
Nigel Harris -
Tsumbai Johnson - reenters picture with Butch Jones gone
Janarion Grant - who I hope ends up at WVU because I see a lot of TY Hilton in him
Add in some kids that are UCF commits
This is the type of talent Taggart will be pulling in and rebuilding on, its never going to be the top unless USF gets a better spot in ACC (Big East 2.0) but its going to be solid
He also has a 4 star Ot from ft myrs committed to him. Seems like hell come along. Really shows how bad things were here if we were losing highly ranked recruits to minnows like WKU.
-
I think he'll be rocking green and gold by the weekend.
-
If it's true, I am pumped for his 16-20 record and butt loads of 2 star recruits. /crossing fingers
If that's what you think of Taggart, then you're name fits perfectly.
Zinger. I know facts. Facts are he is 16-20 and has a butt load of 2 star recruits. But you... you get high on conjecture.
It's the Sun Belt. They were on a 26 game losing streak before he got there and have won 14 games the past 2 years. You obviously don't know your facts too well...
But they didn't recruit 4 and 5 star players and go 12-0. Pass We can do better
He has one four star recruit this year. They also only lost to Alabama by 35. Seems Alabama could have dropped 70 on us this year.

Cole Claybournâ€@ColeClaybournMI
Willie Taggart will speak to reporters at practice in about an hour and a half. Can't everyone just wait until then? #WKU
-
I think this is nothing more than a football meeting to talk about their bowl game. The whole team is probably nervous about losing the coach but it's probably nothing more at this point.
-
I have accomplished nothing today...except for hitting my refresh button on tbp over and over again. Work productivity = zero
Me too. That's why I need for this to get over with quickly
Woolard needs to hire someone so I can go back to work.
lol i guess its all of us
lol this. This has been the extent of my work day so far:
Me too, i think this is going to go one for another couple weeks. So much for meeting business goals this quarter.

Is Houston Nutt the new football coach or did someone mess with his Wikipedia page?? I would have included a screenshot but can't seem to figure out how to attach the file.
From Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia....ki/Houston_Nutt
Houston Dale Nutt, Jr. (born October 14, 1957) is an American football coach for the University of South Florida and former player. Most recently he was the head football coach at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) from 2008 to 2011. Previously, he served as the head coach at Murray State University (1993–1996), Boise State University (1997), and the University of Arkansas (1998–2007). Nutt has served as an assistant coach under Lou Holtz and Jack Crowe. He currently works for CBS as a college football in studio analyst.
It is now gone..

So can someone please remind me why taggart is so amazing....i just need to know the facts here.
http://www.bradenton...rt-perfect.html
After reading this article, it sounds like AW would be a perfect fit for his scheme.
-
I get all the excitement and that he's hot right now. But give me some numbers. Throw some facts out there. Holtz was a hot commodity back then and I don't wanna fall for that again.
I agree, this would be interesting to see how they compare. I'll try to pull some numbers later this week if no one else does.

Based on all the endorsements, it seems likely to me that Mr. Taggart will be the new USF coach. This is just my opinion. Should be exciting to see how this plays out.
