He lost today.  First regular season loss since July 2015, 11 months ago.  

He still struck out 12 through 5 innings.  

Dude is 15-0 in last 16 starts with. .053 era and two no hitters in that stretch.  

No pitcher has every thrown a no hitter and hasn't lost a game In between throwing another.  Not like that's a shock it's never happened before but amazing it did happen.  

His only non decision vs the mets in the playoffs when the swept the Cubs.  

I've been gone for a while, looks like we're still losing.  What's changed ? 

As a person who disliked what Lebron did when he went to Miami I have to say he is winning me and people over in Cleveland.  Good PR move and a move for his legacy for sure.   

If LeBron carries this team to a title averaging 40/12/8 Playing 47 min/game (I repeat 47 min a game), that will be the most impressive thing I've seen in basketball.

Must not have been around when Michael Jordan won 6 championships in a row he played in.  (with 2 years off in a row because he needed a new challenege).  Also with stars in the NBA like Karl malone, Charles Barkley, Hakeem, David robinson, Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas , Stockton, bird and Patrick Ewing.  Theres no competition like that in the NBA these days.  Plus players used to be able to foul a lot harder back then. 

I saw Ron Artest jump in the stands and try to fight a whole crowd, that was impressive. 

I know its a bit off topic but tired of people comparing him to Jordan.  May he be more athletically gifted?  maybe.  though Mike would play 36 holes of golf and win a playoff game.  Guy even quit because it got too easy, not team up with MVP an all time great D Wade...i still think Bosh is way overrated. 

But my point to whyhe will never be better than Jordan...ever.. is he totally folded and choked vs Dallas 4 years ago and was part of the team who was beaten worse than any other team in NBA history last year to Spurs (in point differntial).  Those 2 sentences would never be spoken in the same breath as a Michael Jordan. 

But if Lebron wint this one (with scrubs like smazza said)  I put him in the no doubt top 5 of all time and Id listen to comparisons to guys like Kobe, Magic, Bird and Duncan.  But not Mike, not now, not ever. 

If the LIghtning win these series they will have beaten 4 of the original 6 teams in the NHL to do so.  Thats pretty cool in itself right there if you ask me.

I have a feeling they take 2 in Chicago..

Tampa Bay should change their policy to state that "no fan will be allowed entrance if they wear a shirt or other items that are offensive and demeaning to Native Americans."

typical small town mentality.  I rooted for the lightning whole series but a lightning fan calling out fans of one of the original 6 and prob couldnt find a more loyal fanbase, is comincal but i guess among his limited peers he can make sense.  A little piece of info all fans think the other teams fans are jerk offs , ever been to a BUcs game, worst fans in the country.  Ever been to a Rays game, worst....scratch that, no fans lol. 

The lightning arent allowing out of town credit cards to buy tickets, talk about a joke all across the nation getting exposed too.  No one outside of tampa  and most smart ones in tampa, thinks thats a good idea but when you cant keep other fans out of your own arean you must resort to kindergartne like tactics, i understand, i guess.    You cant wear another teams jersey in the crowd?  what is this Germany 1942?  joke upon jokes about Tampa fans once again.  At least Lightning fans show up, ill give them that.

I was all about that hire.  I liked the Orlando hire too until I watch the effort and style of play.  hopefully that changed big time next year.

Only the people from Tampa teams (I don't count Wade Boggs) didn't tip Bruce Namedropper back in the day.  If he's not full of shiz, which I doubt, it would certainly explain why he dogs on every Tampa team in existence, including USF.   

haha I dont dog the Lightning and I actually like the new Look Bucs.  Ive always verbally admired the Rays organization but i know the majority of the fans are awful, and so do you. 

JTrue, he stiffed my co worker and I.  Everything went perfect with the tournament, not a complaint.  Hes either cheap or dumb.  He didnt forget , he tipped the girls in front of me and never made eye contact with me because hes cheap and knows he was wrong.  If i didnt tip a waiter Id look down too in disgust of myself.  Every time we had a tournament we were excited for the hosts tip.  Its why you worked them.  Whos side are you on the poor college student who paid his own way through USF or the piece of crap rich guy who stiffs him?  Now im pissed amd i wouldnt hire him back

Im not talking about bringing guys back from their assisted living facilities.  Im tlaking about right now.  I bet Seth could recruit s Florida.  Guy is entertaining and very noticeable now.  Heath is a sideline reporter for mid major games and isnt very good at it.

I was a young college kid working in a cart barn, who set up 120 golf carts with everything they needed plus the handouts and gifts they provided.  We make sure the shotgun goes off in time and stays on pace. 

EVERY SINGLE other person who threw a tournament out there tipped us and well.  Dr J and the Orlando Magic gavee us $200 each.  Wade Boggs threw us $100 each, Steve Debartolo threw us a chunk of cash, even no names threw us money.  Not tipping the kids who set up your golf tournament is like not tipping the waiter.  

Please dont ever throw a golf tournament.
