  1. Ucfchad.... Usf baseball stadium>ucf football stadium... ;)

On Campus Football Stadium > Renting Ray Jay by 100000 x!!  In the meantime...keep trying to catchup to UCF with your facilities.  Congrats on the new ballpark...ours is coming soon.

And yes...your old one WAS the worst Div. I Baseball stadium in the Southeast, by far.  Where does Brandon have nerve to say such a thing?  Because USF is irrelevant and he's only stating the truth.

Better double dose on your Vitamin D... You ain't getting any up there this weekend!

  3. Are you guys still playin' this season?  Or did it finally get called for lack of interest?

No but seriously, who is your best opponent this year?  UM?

Hope you win that game because the rest of your season is pretty lackluster.  Least when we were in C-USA we had Louisville to hate.  Don't get me wrong, it was still fun to go to the games and all, but playing teams with national exposure makes it so much better.  It is electric just walking into the stadium and it takes a strong visiting team to do that, even Syracuse would draw 2-3K at the stadium.

Oh well, I feel for you, it is not your fault that Tulsa is your biggest challenge in the league.

  4. I'm sure Brett will carefully parcel out the numbers that make USF athletes look like a bunch of lazy punks and then blow them way out of proportion.

You know I also heard we are the lowest APR for all schools...

In the big east located in Florida (you forgot that)

In the BCS located in Florida (you forgot that)

In the BCS located in the Central Florida Corridor (you forgot that)

In the Tampa Bay area (you forgot that)

containing the word "South" in the name (you forgot that)

in which the name "shaft" appears in the name of school's president (my personal favorite of the ones you forgot)

in which I attended.  (you forgot that which I am greatly disappointed as the world does revolve around me)

on which campuses I got laid!  (take that back this is my new personal favorite of the ones you forgot)

    Need I go on?

Oh last one, of all the schools that UCF has a perfect losing streak in football against (ok now I am torn as to which is my personal favorite of all the possible scenarios you forgot).

  5. Whatever the reason, it's a good pick-up for UCF.  It will bring people in to watch and if they are winning, they may hang around for more.  Some people will come for (the real) MJ sighting....you've gotta figure he can afford to fly in for a game or two.  And finally....shoving a couple million to your son's school is pretty cool if you've got it.  It's a great deal for UCF...I'd take him in a heart beat even if I thought he was just "pretty good" for a college athlete.

Good post.  He was the MVP of his state championship team.  His coach says he may turn out to be one of the best.  He simply fell in love with our academics and facilities is what I am hearing.

Come on, enough with the academic ********!  Nobody is choosing UCF for their academics, just like they aren't choosing USF!

  6. 1. Chucky Atkins (because I rode in a car with him)

    2. Rodenko Dobras (because I shot hoops with him)

    3. Charley Bradley (because I drank beers with him in Ybor)

    4. Drake Hogestyn (because when he played baseball for the Brahman Bulls he went by Don, now he goes by John Black and because I talked to him)

    5. Monique Metzcus (because I used to go to the volleyball matches in the early 90s just to see her in uniform, oh and I talked to her too)

FYI... Still see Monique, she looks the same!  and single!
