  1. I don't think I equate a 2-point change in average scoring defense with going from 14-14 to 7-15 ... would think there are other areas where there's been a more significant dropoff. Are those Big East-only stats or for entire season? Sometimes can see a big difference between the two ... good thinking, though.

Agreed 100%. Me thinks it's an offense problem.

  2. USF Football tweeted that it wouldn't be earlier than 3:30. So it looks like, 3:30, 7, 7:30, or 8pm start times.

Looking at the schedule of games that day, I wonder if ESPN College Game Day would've been in Tampa if USF & FSU were both 4-0 going into this game.

sucks if FSU wins and we beat Ball State. I would be thinking about that all week.....

Nah, Gameday is in Tally for FSU this weekend. Doubt they would have gone back to back (unless we were ranked pre-season and in the top 15 or something to that effect).

Florida's last two games had College Game Day at their sites (Texas A&M, & Tennessee). Before the season, lots of experts thought the USF game would be a potential upset for FSU, so I could see if we were 4-0 & ranked in top 25, it could be attractive.

Unfortunately, it's all a moot point now.

  3. She also had this to say. I want whatever Donald is smoking...

Donald in Tampa writes: I think USF will win the conference out right, and if they win more than 10 games, they going undefeated. I've looked at all the teams in the Big East, and none of them have the experience, leadership, and speed that USF has. Oh yea, I can't forget talent. I don't see how people just downgrade the transfers USF has gotten from other schools. It's like when they sign at USF, everyone says. "Well, he wasn't that good anyway" and turn their noses up. But with all that being said, I feel if USF plays to their capabilities no team they play this year should be able to touch them because their team is loaded. And that includes FSU and Miami.

Adelson: Well, we have heard for years now about the superior talent and speed USF has, and the Bulls have no rings to show for it. I do not think USF is clearly head and shoulders above everybody else in the league; however, what could set the Bulls apart is the senior leadership. That might be the huge intangible that gets them to the top this year. As for Florida State, have you seen that defensive front? Come on, now. I get being a fan, but FSU is the more talented and better team. However, I think USF will have a great shot at beating Miami and would not be surprised if this team won 10 games.

  4. I stopped by there this afternoon and there were several mediums and XXL stuff. I'm not surprised they are going out of business though...even with a 50% off sale, most of their polos are still about $30. To pay $50-$60 regular price for a USF polo is ridiculous. Also, their new location though is as crammed as their old location, so if you liked the store previously, you should feel right at home.
