Coach Weiner was my baseball coach at Crystal River in '04. I'm sure he is a good football coach and all, but I know for a fact he was not a good baseball coach.
^I can confirm this.

i wonder how many people are going to read this post and not realize it was from 2004.
I had to stop and think for a minute. Reading the topic I thought he was talking about basketball until I saw smazza's post and someone mention Andre Hall.

i was one of the original members of death row and it will never be back. the reason is that those seats are not allowed to be used any more by students. it was the best, rowdy, and awesome student group ever. we had coaches and even the conference commisoner come and talk to us. he gave us free tickets to the tournament. it will never happen again because simply the school got rid of us because we were making a bad name for the sun dome people. mike lapan was basically the person who did not want us. i have a videotape of all our highlights on tv and sportscenter and watch it once in a while for some big smiles
always in death row

But do you foresee an attendance drop off next year because of the scheduling of the BE and us not having as many good home games?
Robert Weiner's immediate impact?

I would assume his main responsibility is to go out and recruit the area. His record at Plant says something but his ability to have player after player with the talent they had go to his school says something more to me. I played baseball for him for one year in 04 before he got the job at Plant, good career move. He was a terrible baseball coach, obviously not his specialty. I would imagine CWT has things he wants done with the WR's and Wiener will be following that script. Just get the top notch talent he got at Plant and his job is safe.
