  1. The best possible scenario is for him not to be fired (for fiscal reasons), but demoted.  Leave no doubt our recruiting is top/near top of the American class for time being.  We have athletes that can go toe-to-toe with some of our conference and out of conference foes.  There's no debate on playcalling and development of these players.  Atrocious

I wonder if he were given an opportunity to still recruit and accept something lower on the food chain within the football program, he would take it.  Probably not.

    1) be fired
    2) what I just said above

If he were canned, he'd just go to Michigan.  Bleh

  2. If we

    • Eliminate mistakes
    • Have accurate passing
    • Manage to get Mack some good yardage
    • Contain Dalvin Cook
    • Prevent something in the post
    • Match their physicality

We will be within 10 points.  All or none of those.

Their caliber of athlete is much better than ours and skill players are incredibly talented.  FSU locks and reloads every year, and even though our talent pool is getting better in terms of recruiting, IF it's a close game, it'll come down to coaching.  You'll take JF over CWT 11 times out of 10

We have a tall order ahead of us... Go Bulls!

  3. I'm sorry, but 5-7 is absolutely unacceptable.  We're not looking for someone to prove themselves through blue collar bus driving and inspirational quotes.  We want results -- and we want them now.  A bowl game, or bust.

    2-10 to 4-8...

I'd say 7-5.   7-6 with a bowl game loss would be a successful drive from his 'bare cupboard' days...

  4. goes without saying, but Mike White is the best we have...  I want to believe in CWT for he's looking out for the best interest of the program by putting out personnel who will give USF the greatest chance to win, and that's not Flowers.  No sign of disrespect, or honoring years, it's just the truth...

We won't see Flowers at all unless something catastrophic happens and it looks more like last year.

I'm wondering what the margin between Bench and White are though... maybe we'll see some shuffling during the Maryland game and we'll begin to see signs of life?

  5. Press is always good. Leaving it blank wouldn't have made news. Touche Taggart.

That's like saying CJL's locker room tirade was good press.

Press is good when you do something worth note like defeating Aubs in Alabama, FSU in Doak, or stealing a recruit from Florida

Make no mistake everyone is pointing and laughing, and if the season goes poorly this will only make this day look even worse.  Time to go 12-0!

Asked if there would be a decision to redshirt Flowers, Taggart said they don't worry about that. Playmakers will play.

    But then:

    Jeff Odom â€@ByJeffOdom 38s

Don't lump him into the starting mix, though. That is between Bench and White. A special package for Flowers this year? It's a possibility.

I don't know -- the fact that he hasnt stepped onto the field allows everyone to buy into the mystique that he could be better than SB/MW based on their performances last year.

Whoever's out there, I don't care about seniority, years, height, weight, rank, name, or serial number.  If I'm CWT (and everyone else's on TBP sentiments), put the guy who will give us the best chance to succeed out there

  7.

I was actually Chase Litton's music teacher in elementary school

Kid was like 5'8 in 5th grade... and a bowl cut in 4th grade.

Litton was in elementary school when you joined in Sept 2007, and you picked "litt2USF" way back then???

    Litt = me (last name)

the moniker was made in June 1999 when I was staying at the Ramada off of Fowler to visit the school.  I decided to make an AOL screen name since I was about to attend USF in a few weeks for Summer B, so I made the screen name litt2usf

    stuck with me ever since

About Litton though, he told me his aspirations back in '08 were to play basketball for Butler or Florida.  I remember going to see him during 5th grade lunch and showing him my '08 bracket -- he laughed it off
