Can't wait. I'm leaving today, around 4pm. Meeting up with my brother and 3 others in Atlanta tonignt. Driving over to stadium from Atlanta and will be there till Monday morning.

Only thing is, that I heard heavy rains are expected for Atlanta and Birmingham. That whole area is being hit with fronts. Makes no difference though. My brother and me sat at a Bulls home game, 1st or second year in the new stadium, during a down pour. Everyone else got up and ran for cover, we never budged. What great memories!!! Go Bulls!!!

I would love to be there, but unfortunately I have to work that day if I want to take off on Thursday to travel to Birmingham.  I will be thinking about them.

Mama...I too am leaving Thursday. Thursday night that is, Delta flight to Atlanta 6pm. Are you flying out or driving up?

I will also try to make it out to the send off. Great Idea!!!

Those of you that got your tickets, did you pick them up at the Sundome, or have them mailed? I chose the Express Mail option online, but I have not received my tickets yet. Have other people already gotten theirs in the mail? I live in St Pete, not Tampa, but I still would have expected them by now if people in Tampa have received them in the mail.  >  :'(  :'(

To answer your ? amie..we ordered on line and received them 3 days later by UPS...in Atlanta.

This may not help you but you did ask. Also, you may wish to contact 1-800-GOBULLS and see if they have even processed your tickets yet. Would hate to see anyone left out due to tickets arriving too late or being lost in the mail. Check with them asap...for your sake of course and also for team attendence...we need everyone there

If the lots open on Friday, Dec. 22 @ 8am does this mean that you can reserve parking spaces that far in advance? May sound like a stupid question but I figured, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks LakeBull...called them but I keep getting a recording asking me to leave my name and # but have yet to get a response. They wouldn't be on sale at the campus book store by any chance? I didn't see it posted on their web site.

VickiM...thanks for the heads up on the info concerning the tUSF tent at the stadium... please let me(us) know if you come across any more info on that. Rumors not facts...

-I heard the the Pre-Game Tailgate was going to be held somewhere other than at the stadium

-If someone wishes to tailgate, they need to purchase more than one parking space and use the empty space for the tailgating

-There is no set (addigned) parking for USF fans, its first come first served

If you can confirm or denign any of these rumors or even add info, it would (will) be greatly appreciated. Thnx

Anyone know if the Bowl Game Souvenir-"special limited edition backpack" ($25) which was mention of the USF website (Travel with the Bulls) is being sold anywhere other than at the game? It would be nice to have before the game to travel with.

Purchased Bowl tickets on Sunday and confirmed with Delta for Thursday flight to Atlanta..returning on Monday Christmas morning from Atlanta...

Don't look at the glass being half empty...Bulls fans have waited for tens (10) years, more if you go back to when students on campus tried to petition for football (I believe in the '70's) but needless to say...

The glass is half full...

1. This game could have been in Texas or even further north in Canada

2. The game could have been on Christmas day itself

3. Or even worse, USF not being invited to a Bowl or even having a football program

A true fan has only two questions to ask... "where & when"

The "how" gets worked out.

1st...what is the "AA Tailgate?"

2nd...I will be flying into Atlanta, then traveling by car with 4 others to the game. We where thinking of purchasing 3 parking spaces to tailgate but I wasn't sure if there is a specific lot for USF fans. Also, am I correct in understanding that the USF Pre-Game Tailgate isn't even in/on nor around the parking lot of the stadium? That's one of the reasons why I haven't purchased any tailgate tickets.

Any and all advice is appreciated. Thx

Sunday, I was able to purchase on-line, a roundtrip flight Tpa-Atl  ;D$128 ($158 w/ taxes) on Delta...Airtran was more expensive :-X
