Would anyone be up for trying to rent out the IMAX theater at MOSI for an away game?
the theater at channelside also has IMAX if MOSI doesn't go for it

Hauling,
i don't think he's majoring in EE....i said that was my major when i was at USF...EE's don't have to take statics
-
i never had to take statics cause i was EE (some of my mechanical coworkers said statics is not hard...just like physics I, f=ma stuff), but physics II is mostly about electrical stuff....why can't you just leave right after classes are over...or take online classes

look for me and UCFingSUX in the crowd....we'll probably be the only people there in USF gear.....i might even make a sign (possibly)

sheriff,
this was posted on the myspace page in memory of javan:
I believe they are planning a small service in Daytona this Thursday the 29th for the team and his friends from that area and the services here for family and friends are tentatively set for Saturday March 10th possibly in Arcadia. These are not 100% as of now, but I will keep you updated as I hear more.

i think it's also a possibility for them to move our UL game to a different day for tv...if we are both in the running for the BE title i think it's a good possibility because it's at the end of the season....that might hurt us with recruits also if it's moved to a friday....hopefully if they move it, it will be on thursday like the UL vs WV and Rutgers vs UL games were last year
-
i remember that....he also did another smaller dance later than that and i got some video of that one on my dig. camera....great stuff
-
Wow I would love to make this road trip... It would be great time.. Where is the closest airport....Wonder what flights would be like..Hmmmm. Auburn, FAU, Rutgers....
closest airport is newark but if you fly southwest like me you'll have to fly into laguardia or philadelphia....another choice is jfk

I wanna go to Arkansas Tech and be a Wonder Boy!!
Interestingly, we're one of 2 1/2 Bulls (Johnson C. Smith is the Golden Bulls) and I'm one of the ONLY  Retrievers.
arkansas tech could have jack black as their mascot

HowieP is doing a good job representing USF over there.  Too bad that the number of ignorant jerkoffs got so high on this board that he stopped participating here.
didn't something happen on a talk show?
weren't you one of the people who asked him to leave
Quote from you:

i know that but i was just trying to help by saying what i put...i know the club seats are the ones that are on top that are the gray one's (my parents have club seats for the bucs games)....so that might translate to the green or gold sections
-
on that benefits/donor level pdf (http://www.nmnathletics.com/pdf7/38091.pdf ) ....some of them have Football Seating Priority, Some Have Premier Seating - Football, and some have Club Access at USF Home Football Games....i think that might help out a little
-Football Seating Priority is $100 or more a year donation
-Club Access is for people who donate at least $1000 a year
-Premier Seating is for people who have accumulated giving $100,000 or more

i don't know if anyone said anything about this before but this is what steward mandel wrote about our bowl game:
PAPAJOHNS.COM BOWL
South Florida (8-4) vs. East Carolina (7-5)
How to get a free pizza: Go to PapaJohns.com during the game and place an order. When the delivery guy arrives, tell him you're unsatisfied and refuse to pay. "But sir, you haven't even tasted the pizza yet," he'll say. "I know," you'll reply. "But this football game of yours ruined my appetite."
~ what an assbag

Flipper:
Take the I-10 to 231 route.  231 is a nice four lane highway.  Yes, the Gen. is right, you must slow down for the towns (especially Ozark, AL), but between towns it is a 65 mph highway.  When you get to Montgomery, you turn left on South Blvd. and it will take you straight out to I-65.  We take this route down from Illinois every year for the holidays.
I also recommend that those going this way from Tampa area consider taking the new Suncoast Parkway toll road to Brooksville and take 19 north to Monticello.  It chops off a big chunk of I-10.
Normal
on the suncoast parkway, you have to pay almost $5 for an hour drive...it's BS
-
definately green....i didn't own a green usf shirt before (only gray) and i bought 2 new one's and a green sweatshirt just for this occasion...i think it looks a lot better in the stands with the green

wow...you tell the people on this board more about your plans than your friends who are going with you on the trip...
I didn't know I had to tell my friends when I was heading to Ft.Lauderdale or when I was heading back to North Carolina...
The rest you know...  :
actually...the last time i talked to your gf, she told me we were leaving to go to bham on the night of the 21st.....you just wrote on here that we're leaving on the 22nd.....i still don't know what the eff is going on....everytime i try to talk to you online you give me one word answers....i'm almost over going on this trip

A couple who are saying just go are still students (USFan, Randy). It's very hard because I don't get to see my family all that much, I've been home twice this year for weekends and probably won't be back to see them until August.
I know many can drop it and go and thats fine your lifestyle allows you to do that.
However, I have my family, my fiance's family, and my friends all in Orlando and I am alloted the 23-Jan 1 to see them.
Unfortunately the timing of this particular bowl game does not allow me to just pick up go to the game and then get home quickly to be at my grandparents for Christmas Eve (they do it every year). Further the costs would be through the roof.
I bought a ticket, however making it happen would put just too much of a strain on my finances, my time spent with my family, and making it home for Christmas Eve at my grandparents. I gotta put that first.
Yes, I am still a student... but a student in NC.  My gf of 4 years is up here with me.  We are flying to Tampa on the 20th.  My family (from Ft. Lauderdale) is driving up to Tampa (where my gf's family is from) and driving to B'Ham on the 22nd.  We'll be back in Tampa on Xmas eve.  We'll be staying in Tampa until the 27th... fly to Ft. Lauderdale on the 27th to visit my family and fly back on January 2nd to start work/school.
How? We planned for the bowl.  The BE does not have bowl games on the 24th nor on the 25th.  PERFECT!
As long as you save for a "bowl game" budget and you plan early... then you'll be fine.  All of this on a teachers(gf)/students(me) salary.
Next year Joe… now you know. ÂÂ
wow...you tell the people on this board more about your plans than your friends who are going with you on the trip...

Anybody take any pictures of these shirts? I was thinking of stopping by sometime this week, but I would like to have an idea of what they look like beforehand
-
not that i like the design better, but i do like the green shirts better....i wish the bookstore made a bowl shirt that was green....i think it looks much better in the stands if everyone is wearing green....easier to notice which team you're representing
-
do they sell USF patches...if so, you could sew a patch on
-
19 becomes a ghost town once you get out of Crystal River... 55 the whole way, few traffic lights.  It's a good road trip.
and in crystal river you get to drive by the nuclear power plant...exciting (i'm from citrus county...there's not much around there so that's as exciting as it gets)
For those who are going to Auburn...

hey, i graduated hs in 2000 also...did you guys have to learn the smoke free class of 2000 song?
"We are the smoke-free class of 2000, two triple zero-- everyone's a hero! (Or a zero!)" ...haha...i can't believe they made us sing that
