guy is clearly not a good coach and has had off the field problems as well as said per another thread. This is a bad idea. We do not need nepitism.

 

Off the field issue has nothing to do with him, not being added to the staff. Skip brought him in and Taggert, as aGA WKU, marquel aided in the development of the running backs. I know for a fact that blackwell landed 3 recruits, for WKU, last year and had 2 committs for this year. Taggert used him with a promise that he would bring him back. But for what ever reason Taggert hasn't hired is a suprise, he is very capable of coaching at this level. I would like to hear Taggert excuse.

That's amazing, considering the fact that he was hired by WKU in July of 2012!

I was just informed that Marquel Blackwell recieved a job from Western Kentucky, as RB coach. Its not official yet, but good luck anyway. I know you will do a good job.

Didn't mean to get the board in a uproar, but I have spoken with Josh Grady, who was been recruited by USF as a DB. And I remember them not offering him a chance to play QB, and was a main reason he didn't sign with USF, and a guy like that could have possibly help recruit other member on his team and in tampa. That was my opinion earlier, and only a opinion, but the talent there were getting from around the bay area, didi help build the program.

I know the talent improved since joining the Big East, but I noticed since Levitt left, local talent are not even interested in USF. Just watched film of 7 on 7 team with bay area players, win a national tourney over at IMG in bradenton. And out of the 20 something player, USF only targeted 2 player, and that was the same thing as last year. There letting some very good players leave for other shools, and the team that won was coached by Margeul blackwell. That should have helped bring some of that talent to USF, C'mon Skip lets use some of the former players to get this talent, I thought Blackwell was coaching at USF.

This kid is really good, and he is capable of pushing for time at QB, if not redshirted. This kid played for Marquel at freedom, he left when Blackwell was let go. We need to have blackwell talk in his ear a lil bit. Me personally, I think he will choice USF.

someone please tell what coach can come in here, and recruit top notch ball players. Legally? He has done a nice job, for the talent hes had and injuries. You have to remember it's going to be awhile, before we start winning consistly. No matter whos the coach. I say give him one more year.

No because GA assistant USF only make about 8000-10,000 a year, compared to 30,000-40,000 at larger schools. He would be nice young coach to bring as will ryan hearn, that will help build experience and help with recruiting.

Rod smith came from clemson, to help install the wide open offense we have now. He was here 2001 Blackwell junior year, Smith did a good job while he was here. But remember smith worked with rich rod at clemsom, so they have history.

Please explain why he will be a non-factor, and why should he have to play safety to make a difference??????

There is no true answer, both players are perfect for the Bulls football. But to say one is better than the other is crazy, we don't how each one would perform if roles were reversed. Two different times and teams. They're both good QB's.

WHO CARES, all that matters is that they won the game. I'm seeing alot of people trying to make something out nothing, Its the kid second college game, give him a break. Do ya'll think maybe FIU had a pretty decent defense. He's going to be ok, you rather they lost. Start talking positive for once. 8-) 8-)

The coaches say that every year, I even remember them saying that when Quel was QB. But we all knew he was starting, trust me PJ will start the season, but Grothe will finish the season. Pj will look decent in the first couple of game, until the conference games.  8-)

I agree 100%, you have to play with what you have and against who would play you.

OK, the kid can't play this year. There is no need to bash him, you don't know what his problem was. Alot of kids barely make it, I hope he works thing out.

I like RJS, ask any of players who played there. When Florida played played in ray jay against Iowa, the atomsphere was real nice. I like the location of the stadium, and tailgating will not be same on campus. Just watch a recruit eyes when he walk on the field at RJS.  

what about Evan kracky, he had alot of press, but no production. I think he broke his ankle or something like that. and never recovered, he was suppose to be the next great.

Just have to wait and see what happens. It all depends on what teams he plays for. Good luck Dre'.

To listen to everybody bashing C. Hill about his grades, is pretty bad. At one time you were phrasing his talent, and now since he having some trouble with school work, you are trying to say he's just another dumb jock. Alright college isn't easy for everyone, and if you played sports in college, you know it can be very difficult. So just wait and see before you pass judgement on someone. I hpoe he get his grades back on track, and prove all those naysayer wrong. And one other point, I know coach Levitt  did not say that about that about C. hill.

Don't put to much into the spring game, for the last 8 years I been watching sping game, the offense never did nothing outstanding. So for Levitt to chose a QB, won't mean nothing. Its during the summer the real competition will begin. Thats when most of the reps are divided. Remember Denson did not play last spring, because of injury, but he won the starting job in the fall.

Will the be on TV this year, or tape delayed.

What i saw at practice, to be honest all the QB's looked good. I thinl Hill will start the season, But Grothe will be on his heels. Everyone talks about his arm strenth, but it looked dam good to me. Of course he not throwing 60 or 70 yard down the field, but who is. Chill has all the talent in the world, him and Grothe would excel in a four wide set, but thats just my opinion. But USF has a good future whom ever the QB is.

There's  QB in the pros, that still fumble the ball. Give the kid a break, he was trying to make somethig happen. Its gonna happen, thats part of the learning process. So lets give him or whoever the QB, some support.

You have to be joking, if you don't want another QB like Blackwell. Why because he won games, I will take a win any day. I don't won't to get to real reason, why ya'll want a change in the type QB we have. Just look at the post and earlier post about our QB, and you will see.
