I think this guy states it pretty fairly. If the clock is not running, something is truly wrong in the AD's office.
-
Yeah, we don't care what toothless inbred wonders from Tennessee think
I don't think the Tennessee stereotyping is really necessary here...way off topic and track.

For the record, traffic for an OCS would use all 4 lanes of fowler much like MOST universities do when a game gets out.
The university needs to make this happen and there need to be some policemen waving people through those traffic lights.

that's not what he said at all...he said they got caught with the wrong players for the big east because it was so late in the recruiting cycle when they found out...and couldnt start over at that point. He also said there's a trade off between HS players and JUCOs. That JUCOs can get you over the hump quicker, but ideally you'd like all HS players.
blah, blah, blah...whatever excuse. No news here.

They give a sample test on this site.  Shows what some of the players scored. I'm surprised the scores are published.

Congratulations! You have a beautiful family.

once again, the school isn't contacting any coaches at all for mens basketball, and why?  say it with me children "WE DO NOT HAVE A OPENING HERE"  very good, now can we please understand that a booster is the reason for this, not a university official?
Boosters make these things happen. Universities are usually last ones to make it official.

I guess it just depends on where your standards are.  Under Huggins, Cincinnati basketball was the equivalent of Miami football:  Good teams, but lots of crime surronding the program.  If you see no problem with becoming the Miami of basketball, then this would be a good hire to you.
Don't really care who they hire. I'd just like to see folks support the team, which is what I thought fans did.
-
if u take a look at the stats of huggins years at cincy, he had the lowest graduation rate in the country every year he was there thats how we know it in advance.  and ari, aren't you jewish?  jews don't go to church on sunday, and we don't go to church we go to temple, or synagogue
McCullum had a winning team before he came to USF. Did somebody think they knew in advance what he would do at USF? "In advance" is just guessing...every situation is different.
-
It's an ethical thing.  I don't think it is proper to support a team that does not intend on graduating.  They're student-athletes, remember that.
Why do you think they called them Criminati anyways?
"Not intent on graduating"...How would you know that in advance?
-
I echo this sentiment.  I refuse to support a coach that cannot show he can graduate players.
I thought we were supposed to support the TEAM.

I got my tickets last week and I'm in section B3 (nose bleed).  I suspect there will be thousands of UConn fans there.  I'm bringing one myself (the boss' boss).
Not good bringing a UConn fan...you need to work out your priorities ;D
-
How many years ago was that? I'm ready for a new EMPIRE.
-
Let's hope Bulls fans grab these tickets. We do not want UCONN fans making more noise than us!
-
How does a difference of opinion from a USF fan make you a "dark sider?" What does that mean?
-
I think he's right that we don't belong in the Big East if the athletic department is content with the basketball program.
But let's hope that the fans will turn out- USF fans! I know I will be there.
-
May be moot point now...
-
If Louisville loses, they will have all kinds of excuses. I don't think they will talk rivalry because they think they are above being rivals with anyone.
-
I am a Cardinal fan.  What are the expectations of Bull's fans when you visit Freedom Hall on Saturday?
Get to see some snow, and hopefully keep the game close enough to get a win!
-
The coach has had his chance. There will always be some kind of excuse when the job is not getting done. It is difficult to make the decision to move on, but it is a waste of the program not to make that decision NOW. We have nothing to lose at this point but the label of doormat.
-
The higher ups are hearing it, and they do see the light... just not the same light you wish they saw.
What light are they seeing? I want to see it and see what it is.
-
But we are playing teams close, AND we have heart.
Sarcasm folks.
