  1. If you notice, we did get trombone slide covers these past two weeks, there is still some work to be done to them but they will be in full working order by the womens confrence tourny and for football season

Notice how you didn't say mens  ;)

    I hope you're wrong  :)

I hope I'm wrong too  ;) but the womens one is first before the mens on the calender so we will have them all done up by then

  2. The Rose Bowl only about 2 years ago brought in a Presenting Sponsor, they are the last bastion of an old school bowl game.  There is no other half time entertainment other than the marching bands. There is almost no advertising inside the rose bowl, hell they even got a seprate tv contract.

It should also be noted that when the teams came running out they turned up the mics on the bands, FOX on the other hand turned up their music, Fox did a terible job giving us the Fesita Bowl,it lost all the fun or other stations giving you the college experence, it just felt sometimes like another pro game. the BCS made a big mistake by taking the BCS away from ESPN and ABC

  3. This is an open invite to all board members in town on Saturday December 9th at 8pm to join the Herd of Thunder as we play basicly our entire book, all of pre game, and all the music you hear at half time, along with a few charts you only hear at Basketball games.

There will be 300+ music students from around the state of florida, and we need to show then that our fans love us, and it also helps get more folks for next year

    DECEMBER 9th

    8pm

    at the Soccer Stadium

Dress in your best USF and help us end the year on the right note, and help us start out next year on a awsome foot. I hope to see you all there.

  4. Well i'll try my best to give you an answer,

When USF takes a bowl invite then a lot of stuff in the Pride of The Bay goes into motion.

Birmingham is within driving distance, more or less about 12 hours driving is about the cut off. If we goto Huston, then it might jut be a pep band.  Hoston is on the edge of that limit so it a big watch and see

Bowl pay out is a big thing for us, a lot of the cash for bowls comes through that. From our food stipends to hotel to transport to ticket, yes even we need tickets, all come from the bowl pay out. So anything that pays out over a million to us is a good thing and will likely have the entire band at it.

Athletics is our main source of funding for a bowl trip, so what they say goes and thats about the end of it.

I hope this answered some of your questions, if you got more just ask.

  5. If I remember from my year in the HOT, we played the alma mater on field in pregame and after the game in stands, is this still true?

By the way, here's a pic I found (a while back) of myself (in 2003) on field:

    Yes we still do this,

And just as a note, the Alma Mater is something that brings every generation of bulls together, cause from now till kingdom come, thats going to be it, thats going to be the Alma Mater, so grab the bull next to you, even if you don't know them, and sing along, cause we are all brothers and sisters here at USF and **** proud of it too

  6. from the story i heard, its that the seat we not going to be green and gold to begin with, but the same color as the UF seats, they are carbon copys of each other, so... Some one got pissed off said we want green and gold seat, and well finding 10,000 green and gold seatson short notice is hard, so the colors you see now are the ones they could get on short notice.
