  1. I'm going to lose all respect that I had for Nick Saban if he takes this job.  But will I blame him?  No because why would someone turn down a 40 million a year contract offer?  The way I will lose all respect I ever had for him is for the way he's treating all of this coming out and saying "I'm not going to take the Alabama job" and now he comes out and says he needs another night to think about it.  That is completly ridiculous.  Astro that is exactly what he wants, complete control.  And as Dan LeBatard said it on his radio show he's going to become the Larry Brown of the NFL.  Although Larry Brown has already proven he can win.  I hope that if the Nicktator decides to take the Alabama job that it will come back and haunt him later on somehow!   >:(

  2. They played great today...an unsung hero on the defense these last 2 games has been Renaldo Hill!!!  2 INTs the past 2 games!  Just wish they would have started off the season playing this way!  But I am still optimistic about getting a playoff spot especially the way the team has been playing these past couple of weeks.  Just need teams ahead of them to lose as well...and we can also inch a little closer to the Pats as well especially if they lose to the Bears

  3. nice!  I'm looking forward to the remaining of this basketball season.  I think that trip to Europe during the summer for them was able to bond them together a little more!  I know this is only the beginning of the season and haven't played that many teams yet but I think great things will come this season!  GO BASKETBULLS

  5. This is def going to make the Bulls a huge threat in the Eastern Conference next year:

For the last six years, Ben Wallace has been the face of the Detroit Pistons. No more.

A league source told ESPN.com Monday night that Wallace has told the Pistons he has accepted an offer from the Chicago Bulls.

While exact details are unavailable, the offer is thought to be a four-year, $52 million deal.

A deal can't become official until July 12, when the salary cap is set for the 2006-07 season and exact contract values can be computed.

The move will come as a shock to Pistons fans who thought the chances Wallace would bolt from Detroit were slim to none.

The Pistons came out of the gate Saturday offering Wallace a whopping four-year, $48 million deal, but they told the four-time defensive player of the year that it was their final offer.

The signing clearly upgrades the Bulls' front court, albeit at an exorbitant price. The Bulls will have to use roughly $13.5 million of their projected $16.7 million in cap space to secure Wallace.

However, Wallace adds the veteran toughness and defensive presence the Bulls felt they lacked up front.

Look for the Bulls to now explore trade scenarios involving Tyson Chandler.

One potential opportunity, according to sources, is New Orleans, which is mulling a Chandler-for-P. J. Brown swap. Brown is in the last year of his contract, which would give the Bulls even more cap relief next season.

The Bulls also have explored Chandler trade scenarios with the Hawks (via an Al Harrington sign-and-trade) and the Warriors.

The move puts the Pistons in a difficult position.

They lose Wallace for nothing and don't have anything more than the $5.1 million mid-level exception to offer to potential replacements.

There are a few starting center-caliber free agents out there, such as Joel Przybilla and Nazr Mohammed, but none who can give the Pistons what Wallace did.

Instead, the Pistons may opt to beef up their backcourt and to move to a more up-tempo style with Rasheed Wallace at five and Antonio McDyess at the four.

  6. Yea you are right.  I have a good friend from Miami and I always give him a ahard time for their fans.  Marlins would be in the playoffs and games would look empty.   But the Heat have always gotten a pretty good crowd. Deservingly so.

Although the Marlins look hot right now!!!  8 wins in a row!!!  one of the hottest team in baseball right now!!!  don't joke...if we keep up the pace these young fish may be fighting for a wild card spot yet again.
