  1. Eventually both those programs will fail.  I live in Miami and work close to FAU.  There is no real support there for either football team.  FAU is the perfect example of a commuter school.  I am not taking anything away from the academics because they are very good, but they have no real student base.  FIU is ten times as bad as FAU.  FAU and FIU should stay 1-aa, it would have been in their best interest.

  2. Gary, I have no idea who you are talking about, but I agree with you on this matter.  This whole calculation is a joke.

Diddy, if you purely take wins and losses, than you must look at who those wins and losses came against.  Most of the Big East did not play a very tough schedule, while UF and FSU's wins came against much tougher competition.

  3. "that makes sense"  Are you kidding me.

Do you really think that USF has a tougher schedule than FSU who plays Miami, UF, Cuse, not to mention GT, BC, NCSU amongst others.  How about UF playing UF, UT, USC, UGA amongst others.

The joke of the whole computation is it does not take into count what teams went to what bowls.  There is a big difference with Cincy going to their bowl and UGA going to their bowl.

  4. Not really, the Boston Concert was in the mid eighties, their second album.

The only reason I ask is the structual makeup of the sundome, I would think, would limit what could be done.  Those bubble stadium are just down right ugly.

  5. $29MM worth of improvments, I have only been to the Sundome twice, once for a Boston Concert and the other for a USF basketball game.  I know you can't build a new arena for that amount, but from a Bull's fan, would you rather save the $29MM and put that towards building a new arena.  Its just the Sundome is so 70's.  I know UF has one as well, but I would say the same thing about theirs.
