PJ is one of the best backup QB's you will find in the country, as previously stated he led this team to there a bowl season and the biggest win in this programs history.  If (and I hope he doesn't) but if Matt goes down at all PJ can step in and help this team win.  He is the captain of the offense because the players who know him the best know how much he does for this program.

Next time you are at a game take a few minutes and watch PJ on the sidelines, no one is more into the game and no one encourages Matt more.  This man deserves better from those people who claim to be fans of the team he plays for

I think it is important to know that OUR QB went down there and on the first drive threw a pass that hit Amarri Jackson square in the hands in stride where if he caught it we start the game with a TD.  When he dropped it it started a dominoe effect, but as it has been in years past it is far more fun to blame the QB.

"Doc Moment"

I was at a women's softball game with Doc and he stood behind home plate with a pom pom when the other team was pitching.  He would wave the pom pom and tell the pitcher not to be distracted, shortly after this started the ump stopped the game and made Ken Eriksen tell Doc he couldnt wave the pom pom in the pitcher's line of vision.  Good to have you on the board Doc.

Where we are at right now margin of defeat does matter but that aside Coach Mac is a great coach he gets more with less then anyone I can remember and it looks like he is bringing in a pretty solid class next year not to mention the transfers.  Also I would argue that it is very likely that Chris Howard may be the best PG we had this year and he got hurt not kicked off the team.  I cant believe that there are people on here that will get mad at positive national attention for this University that is just plain amazing to me, I have to assume that some people on here want the program to fail under Coach Mac.

I do favor the concept of a student athlete  that should be the number one goal for an institution of higher learning not to mention you can create the best athletic programs based on this concept.  For example look at the most sucessful coach's like Bobby Knight or Coach K at these schools thug like behavior will not be tolerated.  

lots of bull I guarantee we dont go 6-5 or 5-6 we have a 12 game schedule and 6+5=11.  That having been said I think we will go at least 6-6 and we will crush UCF again.  I am not sure how one decent season in a watered down conference can mean more than an actual game played in Tampa last year.  We will go at least 6-6 and we will beat UCF that is why the national comentator lumped that in as a game we will win.  No one too far outside of Florida is very impressed with UCF we are a MUCH better team then them.

I doubt very much that you will see Mattis start next year.  I would expect Aris Williams(Valpo Transfer) to start at the 4.  I think Mattis is the kind of player you would like for your sixth man to give a spark not really as a starter.

Half way through the conference season you are making some bold predictions.  I love the people on here who just assume the worst.  If you have watched this team play all year there is absolutely no reason to assume that they cant win one or more games down the stretch.  There are still 8 conference games left.  I would assume that 12 months from now you will be one of the many jumping all over the bandwagon.

The Question mark on Andre was his pass blocking not his "running skills" this is very good news.  NFL scouts will know that Andre can run they dont know if he can pass block

This team is going places with the amount of guys we have we hung in with the number 6 team in the country no team in USF history could have done this even if they had a full bench it is time for some of our "fans" to get behind coach Mac and these guys.  IN THE BIG EAST TEAMS DONT "LAY DOWN" so I do not want to hear that it is just plain stupid and insulting to suggest that.

oh I agree with that I am saying it is unfair to say the Big East should have the same amount of ranked teams as a 12 team league we dont have as many chances.

The Big East is only an eight team league so it is unfair to measure how many top 25 teams we have vs 12 team leagues.
