I think Miami and Florida State will have plenty of games on ABC.

I don't think the 15,000 attendance ruled passed.   It would kill teams that have played in D-1a for 50 years (MAC)

what was the final ranking of both schools?

The rankings are a joke....Our 2 best freshman players were only 2 star.   We had plenty of 4 star athletes in the past that couldn't even make the starting lineup.

Our A.D's were supposed to met a few weeks after the game on sept 17.   Anything happen with that?   Is 2006 the last year of the UCF/S. Fla games?

They look like they are trying to distance from FIU in athletics.    Good luck to them.   I just don't think they can have 3 D-1a schools in such a small area.   Tough sell...

Goes to show you how far we are behind the big dogs...Penn State and USC isn't very good either.  

I won't be at the Citrus Bowl after dark.  They'd have to have their stadium ready by then.

The Citrus Bowl is in a rough area, but I never heard if any major issues.    

Now here is the question..With the conference shakeup, will USF climb and/or UCF fall?

I would think they would rise.   Sports like baseball and soccer should be a piece of cake in a northern based conference.  

I guess FAMU had their own shakeup..........or shakedown....

neither UCF or USF are even in the same league as the Big 3 yet.

UCF/S. Fla would love to be at 10% of UF, Miami, and FSU.   Hopefully things will change.   The day you see our clothes at all Wal-Marts, Malls, and Gas Stations is the day we dent the Big 3.   The Big 3 fans are mostly bandwagon losers that never went to college.   I'm bitter....I know...

There's no point in playing a tough schedule if you can't win enough games on it yet.  USF would be in great shape if we played ohio instead of Miami, and ball state instead of penn state.

All of a sudden, a bowl game wouldnt be such a stetch, as we'd only have to win 3 conference games to be eligible, and maybe a 4th to lock it up.  Maybe.

Just go for wins.    Now that we have 28 bowls it will be pretty easy to make a bowl if you're over .500.

Dang Knighttime, You could hit the lotto and if you have to drive to Tampa to get the ticket, you would put some type of negative spin on it. Read the article. As of the date of the article ND will play all the BE schools. That is the conference that USF is in. Therefore as of the date of the article USF will play ND in football at some time in the future.

As of now we will be playing ND in all other sports. ucf will not be. SUCKS to be you. OH WAIT! You are now going to tell us all why it is better for ucf not to play ND!

I actually didn't mean anything by my comments.   It just seems like Norte Dame is playing everybody right now.   They are talking to the Big 10 right now about bowl alignments.    It will be interesting if there is a "real contract" in place for Norte Dame to play all BE schools.   Also, can they get out if the deal if the conferences splits?

Just sounds fishy to me...but yes I would like UCF to play Norte Dame in all-sports.   That's a pretty easy decision.  

I think Norte Dame is betting on a split and the contract would be void.    JMO...They are also looking at an alignment with the Big 10 right now.

Care to wager?  I don't think 2006 is possible, but 2007 could easy be achieved.

Yes...

I hope they are holding the land for a football stadium some day.    Playing at RJS is nice, but owning your own place is much better college atmosphere.

The arena is a sure need at this point.   The stadium is a want.    The little arena has got to go.  

Two very major projects.   I don't mind waiting until 2007 if that is the best option.

Hopefully 2006...but I'd be happy with a stadium in 2007.   I don't think they have promised anything.
