This team deserves a tournament bid 

I can’t speak for his personal thoughts, but he seems extremely passionate about USF. I met him at Starbucks a few weeks ago and he was making a great effort to ask every student about themselves and invite them out to the game.

The other day, I met him in MSC and he remembered me. He also stopped a high school tour and gave them a little speech about why they should commit to USF.

I don’t know much about the financials, but he seems extremely determined to build up the culture and school pride at USF. He doesn’t have to be on campus every day talking to students, but he does it & his approach to culture seems to be paying off (won the AAC, sold out YC, etc.)

Have an 8am class tomorrow and I have no voice but **** was that worth it  

This may rival the Boca Bowl as my favorite USF sporting event as a student ever. Go Bulls!

Apparently on his Instagram live tonight he confirmed that he expressed interest in transferring back to USF but Golesh told him no.

Student tickets are $11. Haven’t heard anything about transportation though.

Trying to bring myself and 3 other students (two HCC, one FGCU) to the game. Logistics in progress. Hopefully there will be a good student turnout— Boca takeover would be fun!

We could really run the conference next season. In my opinion, we also have a decent shot at taking down Miami at Ray Jay.

Great to make a bowl this year (more than I expected), but this time next year we may be playing for even more. Exciting time to be a student with the expanded playoffs and all!

We started last season 0-5 and I still had more hope than I do this year. This team is not good.

I was already going to root for Tulane, but can you explain how us being in a bowl game against Syracuse is dependent on Tulane winning?

I have a hunch about this.  Back in the day, students had to go pick up a physical ticket in person or have a friend do it.  An investment of time (waiting in line, etc) would mean that going through the trouble to get a ticket probably translated to intent to go to the game.  Now it’s all online. Grab a student ticket just in case you decide to go.  What is the cost to you if you don’t use it?  I’m just guessing, but this would explain why the tickets are claimed but not used.  
 

I wish they’d go back to the old system. I know now for next year to claim all my tickets ahead of time, but it shouldn’t have to be like that.

Students who show up to games like me should have tickets, and students who don’t show up shouldn’t be able to claim 6 tickets that will go to waste.

I thought my preseason prediction was too optimistic but we surpassed it tonight. Had us going 5-7.

Let anyone else who needs tickets take them first, but if it gets close to game time I’d appreciate any extra tickets you can spare, and I can buy the rest. Student tickets are all sold out again though (no clue why the system works like that)

Hey all, I’m looking to bring 4-5 guests who were convinced last-minute to join me at tonight’s game. Student tickets are sold out so I only have my own. If anyone has any tickets they’re not using I’ll gladly put them to good use. Thank you.

Yeah I’ve been wondering this too. I thought that when Bucs play away, we got endzones painted and a big USF logo in the middle.

This year, it’s been empty endzones and a small white USF logo in the middle of the field. Is Raymond James stadium dissing us because we’re moving out in a couple years?

Yeah this is true, but the only way to build up a fanbase is by beating teams people have heard of.
