Just what I had heard. Want to make sure others don't suffer that fate.

Yep, symptom of poor coaching, team is an embarrassment, least we got him locked in for the next 5 years to continue this clinic. Gregory is a ******* thief and Kelly is a ******* imbecile.
Be careful. I heard some people got banned for criticizing Kelly before.
-
The worst part is that Gregory will be back next season - not because he has earned it but because Kelly cannot afford the optics of firing a coach 2 months after his extension was announced.
-
4-8 sounds about right with that schedule.

How do they sell this product next year to the fans and students with CBG back?
Ticket sales don't matter only stability and consistency.

GO BULLS!
I wish our AD had this mentality when it comes to coaches. I guess Scott doesn't buy into stability over performance.

At least for football there's hope... what can we point to either with the roster or with other program investments in mbb?
Is there hope? Even at our best we've never won the conference, let alone the division. Now we are miles away from getting there and if we somehow pull it off, what's the reward? Winning a watered down conference title in the G5.
Since 2010, there there have been 10 G5 schools that have made or are scheduled to make the move to the P5.

Michael Kelly will never be able to live down this ludicrous extension…….and rightfully so
He will if he never fires him.

We are 2-10 since the announcement of the extension, with the average loss by 16.4 points.

Tonight the defense is the problem.

What’s our record since this sh.t became a thing?
Its not the jersey on the man, but the man in the jersey.

Its so USF to build the boat after the flood has already come.

What are the odds of him fumbling if he gets the ball?...3-1?
Ouch. Don't remind me.

Too bad Gregory can't figure out how to get his team to handle the trap. We saw this against FSU and Utah State 2 years ago and Memphis last year.

Don't get too excited. Gregory will find a way to crap the bed late.
Easy to see this coming. Wichita State on a 21-8 run since the 7:18 mark.

23 blown 2nd half leads under Gregory in the last 2+ seasons.
-
Why is Boggs on the floor late and Walker on the bench?

I still can’t believe we gave Gregory a contract extension. This team sucks!

USF athletics was doomed long before Michael Kelly. For the past 15 years USF has not invested in athletics to the degree that it needed to in order to sustain success. And the recent chatter about an OCS is too little too late.
USF leadership waited for the flood to come before they decided to build a boat.

Expectations for this season should be higher than 4-8. Anything less than five wins is a failure of a season IMO.
Maybe, but I don't think people realize how bad of shape Strong left the program in. 2020 was definitely Year 0 for Scott. I think we will see tangible improvement this year, but the schedule likely keeps us from getting to .500

Why would I call MK? He should have nothing to do with the hiring or firing of our next coaches, he has demonstrated his path and aptitude and it is flatly wrong. As for the other topic it’s hilariously funny that people that write for us said we can’t afford to fire ccs, then oh wait it’s only 20 weeks that’s why we did it, oh wait it’s actually a **** ton but it’s in a secret sunshine free contract we know nothing about and then only a few years later write that CJS’ buyout is only the 20 weeks and that an extension isn’t impactful. They are either liars or dullards but either way they are propagating misinformation and seem to be imitating the abilities of the subjects they cover.
I still think luring CJS from Clemson was a significant feat by Kely, no matter how this plays out. But extending Gregory after he has shown he can burn down what he builds is inexcusable.

If you can’t get excited about the fact that after completing three years of service CJS can perhaps almost have us within a year of where he found us I don’t know what gets you excited in life. With a little luck we may pass the century mark out of 130 schools and flounder to 93rd! That’s good stuff perhaps after four years he may even be able to do as well as what gets CCS fired and in greater amount of time, such joy! This prediction has him firmly in the fired bucket at any other school but VPMKs vision has him extended 2 more years.
With our non-conference schedule I suspect 4-8 is about where we land. Another season of doubling our win total!

No D1 team in the last 24 years has shot worse than 24.8% from 3 point range for a season. Heading into tonight's game we are shooting 23.8%. This is statistically the worst 3 point shooting team over the last 24 years.

In a silo I think this is great. You want your leaders to have fun without it becoming a meme lol
