I don’t know anything specific but one of the Clemson fans suggested maybe Thomas Austin, OL coach at Georgia State. They still have a bowl on 12/31 so if that is the choice that would make sense we wouldn’t hear about it until then.

This would be an excellent get. Hope you land him.

I doubt this. Brad Scott has had an off-field role for quite some time at Clemson and would not expect that to change at USF.

LOL This board can kill any kind of joy from your heart. I'm just happy we are finally filling out the staff period!
Right?
Pretty sure the new slogan is:
USF - United from Start to Finish
That means everyone. Tampa, University, staff, coaches, players, boosters, fans...you name it.

I see both sides, but after looking at the photo I would agree that Ginger boy is chicken ****, hope he can motivate and coach.
Jeeze guys. I know it’s been a tough road so far. But calling your new coach a Ginger Boy...****.
Take it from the idiot Clemson fans (not me) that laughed at the Dabo hire. Don’t be that guy.
The team needs your support. More now than ever.- 2

I get it... you have to look out for yourself. I don't hold any grudges on that front, but by the same token I think it's also fair to call it out as chicken **** when you see a guy that bolts after committing to coach somewhere just a couple weeks earlier.
Yeah, I think chicken **** is pretty strong man. Your new coach is building a staff, and a **** good one at that.
My suggestion would be to embrace and support it and not immediately berate him.
It’s good though. Trust me, the culture is about to change at USF, and you’re gonna love every minute of it.

Bolting after 2 weeks seems like bad form. I recall Autry Denson did the same thing to us several years back, seemed like a ****** thing to do.
In an environment where schools are firing coaches after 18 months...what else can you expect?
If I honestly felt the fit/job security were better, I’d make the same move considering the volatility in the profession.

Hi Everyone!
Lifetime Clemson guy signing up and excited to join you all in cheering for the Bulls!
You all got a good one, and I see Coach Scott is shaping up the staff well!
Any talk about OC candidates? Would love to hear who is in the rumor mill and who you all as fans want to see get that critical position.
I look forward to your responses and checking in with you all from time to time.

I get it, it comes with time. Make no mistake about it, Clemson, even now, is full of people that make me wonder why they even watch football if they’re so negative.
I believe in being positive, it’s a Clemson thing and I’m sure in time, it will be a USF thing as well for the most part.
It’s not going to happen overnight. But with a little long-suffering, year 3 will look completely different for the positive, as will year 5 and year 10.
I’m taking under 7 for you to make a New Year’s Six Bowl, and under 10 years for you to win one.
