The AAC is in much better position today than when it originally negotiated its TV deal and Bowl games.

At the least, we can now show that we were very undervalued and deserve a substantial increase in conference revenue and more quality Bowl games.

    Bless your heart.

I think you underestimate what a 13-0 season means to the AAC when Auburn beat two of the college playoff teams.

This will be a topic for discussion throughout the off season.

It will be a topic for a day or two with the talking heads and shows hosts on ESPN/FOX.

You may not but, this community had better start caring.

USF needs the support of it's local media. Why would they care to support USF? USF is a major employer of this community and has a huge impact on the local and surrounding economies. USF impacts those economies not only with their employees whom live locally and buy homes and raise families here but, by their students whom live in the area while they attend the university, rent living space, buy clothing, furnishings, big ticket items, food and attend restaurants and other evens while they're here.

USF needs the media to be on it's side and be proactive as this could greatly enhance how the University is viewed by outside entities. Further more, those same media entities could in return gain exclusives and breaking stories from the University when they occur. Quid-Pro-Quo.

    Bug then again, Who cares!

USF bball is/has been horrible. What the hell do you expect?

As for writing anything about UCF, they were being promoted as the #3 school in the state and then posted an epic third winless season. That article was begging to be written but, a simple crap article less then 3 paragraphs was done. If USF had gone winless, ever paper n this state would have written an article for their front page.

My point is that we are seriously lacking in media support. Neither the Times or the Tribune do USF justice. :furious3:

    Who cares?

Between what appears to be grade issues and his disciplinary history, I'm lukewarm on this kid anyway. Wish Dugans hadn't stolen our other WR commit away, then we could just wash our hands of this one

wtf are you talking about? This kid is an absolute beast and will probably be our go to guy as a sophmore. Way more upside that Williams.

Had a couple great catches for us in the bowl game.  I think that's the most I've ever seen him in one game.

I'd really like to see him get more looks.  He was a sophomore and HIGHLY touted when he signed his LOI with us.  I think several big schools made a last minute push.

I wonder why he has had some trouble getting on the field?  Hopefully in 2016 we'll see more of him.  I believe that was him with the clutch sideline catch that kept a drive alive.

Cuz he's only a redshirt freshman?

If you guys actually watched the game, officiating did Temple in... No bias, on Temple's onside kick within one score and 2:30 left in the game, Temples kicker literally LANDED on the football, but after a pile fight, Toledo came out with the football! Not to mention there was 0 stoppage to review after the play. Granted Toledo RB Kareem Hunt put the icing on the cake that Temple should not have allowed, but that onside was the turning point. Terrible call, and who knows what happens if they properly give Temple the ball within one score

Yes, but Toledo out played them all game. Still needed to recover the ball, score a TD and then go for 2 just to tie.

  8. I wonder why he isn't as talented as his brother. I'm assuming they workout and did everything together since they started playing football. This would be a nice pickup for us. Hopefully he can replace what Byrd did for us.

Seth Curry...Steph Curry, there's a million examples of brothers not being as talented as one another. It doesn't mean much. I'm guessing he'll have 2 years of eligibility and he has the size to take over Byrds position if he's good.

  9. Normally I would agree with you, but ECU just lost with a bowl on the line to Cincy, and Cincy had little to play for except for their 7th win, just like UConn. I don't necessarily think Temple has a ton more talent than any team in the AAC east either, especially with Jahad Thomas being banged up for much of the second half of the year. They are just very well coached. I think UConn will play a tougher game than most think

    I hope so man.
