HAD VERY STRONG SHOWING SATURDAY IN ATLANTA AGAINST MARIST. HAD GREAT GAME 18 TACKLES 1 FUMBLE RECOVERY.

Jim Jones is one of two starting linebackers [the other is Albert Cannon] from Tallahassee Godby that have Saturday talent and is a sure fire D1 guy. This past Saturday Godby played the talented Bradenton IMG Academy.
Jones, 6-foot-2, 215-pounds, had a solid game. He has good size, speed and is a rangy player. He can fill a hole and make plays in space. Jones shows aggressiveness and doesn’t shy away from contact. I just like the way he attacks, whether it’s the ball carrier, a blocker or getting after the quarterback. He can play both on the inside and out.
Jones, a three-star outside linebacker recruit, has scholarship offers from teams likeSouth Florida, Western Kentucky, Akron, FIU, Georgia State, Kent State, andMarshall.
