Gosh, it is sentimental...my first conference tournament ever was the C-USA tournament in Memphis in '98.

As I posted in another thread, it's a fun time in Memphis.  I attended many of the games in the Pyramid and it was a great atmosphere - I am sure the new arena is even nicer.  At the Pyramid, a couple Bulls fans and I were invited to sit in the mayor's box - for no reason other than good hospitality.  We had to leave when the mayor and his party arrived for the Tigers game, but the guy in charge of the suite thought we should have access to it and the food and drinks as a token of their good hospitality - it was cool.  Most of the people there were so nice - even the Memphis fans.  It was a good time...and then Tunica is just down the road.

The Bulls were one and done that year (at the hands of Memphis), but it was still fun.

I better check airfare...
