Grothe Scores in Red Zone

Lake Gibson quarterback Matt Grothe has been named a national Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year. Grothe was chosen from a pool of nominees of more than 4,500 participating high school football teams from across the nation and was one of 50 players honored.

As one of the 50 players of the year, Grothe will be included in a full-page spread in USA Today on Feb. 3.

hey i went to lake gibson and matt grothe is not all what people think he is..... he's about 6'0, and is also very inpatient in the pocket like banks...... that's exactly what he's like Ronnie Banks
