The women's hoops team increased the record for wins for a season to 18 by beating UAB 62-53.  We are now 18-9 (8-5) with 1 game to play, a 2/26 home game against UAB.

The conference tournament starts on 3/3 in Charlotte.

Congrats to Coach Fernandez and the team!  Hopefully, a good crowd will show up next Saturday afternoon for the final game.

Yes, Congrats to the team. Hopefully they can win at home against UAB which will make it very interesting in the C-USA tourny. If USF can win about two games in that tourny then I think we have a shot at our first ever NCAA bid.

They gotta win next week and make at least the final of the C-USA... that would make their last 10 number look very good.  RPI is a problem, and they're only 1-6 against the top 50, but they're getting hot at the right time.  Either way, they should make the postseason (WNIT), and might host a game this year!

Who is the team to beat in the cusa tourny?  We need to be 21-10 to dance.  One more regular season win, plus two tourny wins.   20-10 is true bubble.
