Have you ever seen Buckley, Howard or Cann play?  You think these three along with Jones, Prek and Dennis can win games on the road in the B.E?  Pitt can't win at WVU and SJU but this crew will next year.  What accolades is Caan coming in with.  USF beat VA Tech for him.  He is a 6-5 overweight center, that works well in the Big East.  Baxter had the heart of a puppet....interesting comment considering he averaged 15 ppg as a junior as well as risked his ownlife to save two people from drowning in their car.  USF basketball is in trouble and they aren't many people this school can afford to fix it.  It will be like K-State, Texas A&M, Oregon State, Clemson, Tennessee, Rutgers Penn State, Northwestern.  Schools that want to have a big time basketball program but for whatever reason can't get over the hump.  You on the other hand act like a know it all and you are FAR from that.

Cann isn't a center... he's 6'6 230 right now.  He will be a PF for us... perhaps even a wing along with Buckley.

I'm working at it.  Some guys would prefer to forecast gloom and doom because the positives only make them look bad.  We all know about Cann, but do we need to dredge it up.  Without the knee injury USF would have never landed him.  If he becomes half the player that he was projected to be before the knee injury then that's still better than anything USF could have recruited.

Some of these guys love to butter Seth's muffin so much, however Seth thought so highly of Cann that he continued to offer him a scholarship even after the injury and almost stole this kid away from us.   If Seth's half the recruiter and talent evaluator some of these guys make him out to be then what does that say about Cann?  If Seth thought that highly of Cann that this kid could help him in the ACC doesn't that bode well for USF?  You see, you can't have your cake and eat it to, so either Cann's a bump, or Seth's a....

You get the picture, but let's not be hypocrites as well.

I don't know, when it makes the one doing the calling out look like a bigger idiot than the one being called out may as well leave it. Problem here is the "Guest" factor. Is that really HJ?

Because Seth wanted Zaron Caan that means he is good enough to play.  He also wanted Diarra, Brigman, Barber and a host of other misfits.  I still would like to know what accolades Caan is coming in with?  I remember when CRM signed James Holmes this board was going crazy about there is finally a shooter coming to town.  He sure is a hell of a shooter.  He comes to play about ten percent of the time.  USF had Big East talent under Seth.  Other than Leather, Swift Bryant and Mosley there isn't one B.E player on the roster.  Seth had plenty of coaching flaws but at least he had talent to win non-conference games against quality opponents as well as finish at 500 in league play.  Seth was lucky to have an assistant (Z) who was connected.
