No-I'm not on Rocks....

Hear me out..... We are seeing where the holes in the ship are as it sinks... we get the chance to plug them in the off-season and I think we will make the proper adjustments to hopefully be that much stronger next year...

IF not.... c-ya staff

It's certainly humbling. Maybe in the New-look Big East we can actually win the conference a few times and position ourselves a little better when conference realignment becomes an issue again. We could use some recruits in that defensive backfield, and I'm hoping Chris Bivins sticks with his verbal.

The coaching staff is unable to fix the holes during the season after two bye weeks what leads you to believe they can fix them in the off season?

One thing if we were winning and we had a few holes to plug, a bit of another story when you are going 0-4 in conference play and need to rebuild the ship. Plus from what I have read, this is going to be a very small recruiting class for us, which doesn't help with all the "holes".

Ha! Losing as the magic elixir to fix the problems? Hell do you go to the hospital and ask for leeches?

Imagine how much of a good thing we could get if we could string one losing season into 3 or 4.

This is one of those years where things don't seem to be going our way. A couple of plays here or there and it could be a good year. I don't think it is coaching adjustments (although they could do better IMO) as much as the kids learning to make the plays when they have to to win (see LSU). Most of this team will be back next year. Hopefully one more year of maturity and experience can turn the record around.

Adversity reveals character.

If we don't go bowling, this will be a sign how well our staff can recruit, since we'll have extra time, and it will be a smaller class (~18-20), so it should be filled with guys we want, need, and can make a difference.

The bad news is that even if we manage to get 2-3 guys who can play immediately, most of these recruits are 1-2 years out from having any impact, and other than the additions of Dunkley, getting Griffin and Dixon back from injury, and seeing a more mature Davis/Gonzalez/WR group, next year's team is going to look very similar to this years...****.
