i agree. if we end up in the BCS then anything besides the orange bowl isn't very good in terms of traveling and such.

Yep.  I'd hate to see us lambasted a la UConn last year.  The sad part is that we would do even worse than they did in a BCS bowl out West.

I would hope that we would sell out 12,500-ticket allotment if we got the Orange Bowl.  If not, we don't deserve it.

According to the team selection procedures in this link, the January 2012 order of selection of at large bids (of which the Big East falls under) is

- Fiesta

- Sugar

- Orange

Being that the Fiesta is first, I'd say there's no shot of repeat for us of what happened to UConn.  Sugar could take us, but odds are that the Orange will be the likely location.

I would think if this happens you would see 15,000 USF fans in Miami.  I base that on, we had 13,000 at FSU.  This would be huge.

It all depends on the record.  If were 12-0 and ranked in the top 5, I would bet money we'd sell our allotment.

If we're 8-5, I would have to seriously consider dropping over $1000 for the wife and I to go and get blasted by another team.
