Is it just me, or did it seem that George Bake was never around the ball?  Seemed like when there were wide open receivers I would scan the field and see #22 about 15 - 20 yards away.  Without being able to rewatch it is tough to tell if it was on him or the safeties, but there appeared to be some wide open people on his side of the field.

All of the DBs were playing too far off.  They were 10 yards from the line of scrimmage on every play.  CSU wide outs don't have that kind of speed.  If we play that far off next week Ponder will pick us apart.

Yeah CSU could have picked us apart all night on short dump offs if they wanted to. We have to have better play out of our corners vs the Noles. This was the one lacking area I saw in an overall great team effort.

Not sure what to make of Baker. It seems like we may be in a lot more zone coverage than we Bulls fans are used to. Baker was also noticeably limping all night, I was kind of shocked that he was still out there.

In any event, we need Young and Q back ASAP.

Hurt his ankle at WKU. Didn't sound too serious throughout last week, hopefully just precaution. Wish Grothe had twisted his ankle against WKU...
