this was the 2nd time in 2 weeks, that we were called for a penalty before an opposing team punt for having 12 guys on the field.  Both times it resulted in a 1st down.  I read the post about penalties and these penalties can be blamed on no one besides the coaching.  That is ridiculous to be called on once, nevermind twice.

Nope.  The Special Teams coach is none other than Jim Leavitt himself.  He feels that it's so important that he coaches them personally - USF does not have a special teams coach to blame on this one.

But is CJL the one responsible for getting the correct number of players on the field at the right time?? If he is, that's ridiculous. He's GOT to delegate that out ...........
