If you were Coach McCullum would you be happy about losing your job? I wouldn't have expected anything less than the comments he made.

I don't know about Willard. I think there are better head coaches at smaller programs that we could target and get.

His comments really disappoint me.  Mr. McCullum has always been a very class act, and those comments are something less than that.  He had his chance, he had some tough breaks, but ultimately no one in the administration is responsible for men's basketball except the head coach.

Ultimately, the AD is responsible, which is why he made the move .... but the AD is also responsible for giving the coach the tools needed to do his job competently and all Mac did was intimate that that wasn't the case... Something we all already knew.
