Javon Camon Funeral Information

When someone has details about Javon's funeral, will you please post it for us. What a horrible way to wake up this morning. Anybody who knew Javon knew what a great guy he was... a ferocious hitter... but just chill as possible off the field. He was the one kid besides Jay Mize that always forced me to keep my head on a swivel during practice. Words can't describe how empty I feel right now... and I know that spans across the nation to his friends, former players, and family everywhere. Take care Javon... you'll be missed.

I live in Charlotte County, Javon's home town.  There has not been anything in the local paper, The Charlotte-Sun Herald yet regarding arrangements.  Hopefully, later today or tomorrow they willplace something in the paper.  Here is a link to the Charlotte-Sun Herald http://www.sun-herald.com/.  This is stunning.  I watched him play in HS and at USF.

Coming in and graduating with Javon, I am completely devastated when I found out about this.  He was a great player, but more than that he was a great person. Always had a smile on his face and managed to bring out the best in others. He will be missed! R.I.P. JC

Both USF and the Daytona roster have his name spelled JAVAN not Javon.

As mentioned, I live in Punta Gorda, Javon's hometown.  I have not heard or read anything in the Charlotte Sun-Herald regarding funeral arrangements.  Once I hear of some information regarding the services, I will it.  Again, here is the link to the Charlotte Sun-Herald for information.  There is a good story today about the type of person Javon was. http://www.sun-herald.com/
