You always hear about these things during a practice where guys are running, playing in extreme heat, but not usually lifting weights!  Definitely a tragic ending to a very promising player as he was lightning quick.  Ran a 4.4 40 if I remember correctly.

it is something that happens all too often around the country.  you can try to condition these kids the best you can and take all the precautions you know of, but this really hits you pretty hard.
