I don't know much about this team this year... but in previous years, they seem to be a well disciplined team.  I expect this to be our toughest game to date and the toughest game of the stretch leading up to getting gransberry and verdejo eligible.

they are pretty young. 4 of top 5 scores are freshman. 5 of top 7 player minutes are too. only loss on the road. we'll be their next road game. should give us an advantage playing a young team on the road for the 2nd time.

Question about basketball tickets.  Why does USF (and probably other schools for that matter) have $20 and $25 tickets for games at the beginning of the season and only sell a few thousand seats?  Wouldn't it be better to put more people in the stands at $10 or $15 for those games?  The crowd for the FIU game was ridiculously small.  I'd like to see Richmond but I'd rather not spend $20 plus.

If anyone on here has extras that they wouldn't mind selling for a discount let me know.

Radford 67, Richmond 50

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Chris Oliver had 24 points and 10 rebounds and Radford held Richmond to 13 first-half points Wednesday for a 67-50 win.

Richmond (3-2) missed 14 of 18 field goals in the first half and had 11 turnovers. The Highlanders held the Spiders to five points over the first 11 minutes before Brian Morris' 3-pointer cut Radford's lead to 16-8 with nine minutes left.

The Highlanders (3-5) moved to a 23-point lead when Oliver's layup made the score 41-18 with 16:12 remaining. Dan Geriot scored 11 points, sparking a 28-11 Richmond run that cut the margin to six with 2:54 remaining. However, Radford ran off the next 13 points, eight by Kenny Thomas.

Oliver also had six steals and a block. Thomas finished with a career-high 18 points, hitting seven of nine field goals.

Geriot finished with a career-high 21 points and was the only Richmond player with more than seven.

That's a great marketing question to ask.

I can understand that Big East Conference Games might be worth $20...but obviously, not many in Tampa think games in Nov and Dec are worth that.

Many schools have different prices for KEY games...and non key games.

Maybe USF Basketball should look to see how some football programs price BIG Games and not so big games.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
