I enjoyed those stories from Brett after that road win against UCF. As I said before, Brett does write some great articles for USF, and I am glad that we have him here. I just get frustrated some times when I start reading cheap shots at the USF program which are from the result of Leavitt cutting the media off. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to Brett because there were no cheap shots from him today.

I've looked, we have asked him for a link......seems like he's just making stuff up and won't respond. Okay here's one........I did a simple search of public records and it shows we actually plan to sign a 1 and 1 with HCC, the Carrollwood YMCA and Armwood High's JV team. So why won't we sign a 1 and 1 with UCF, obviously Levitt is an idiot if he want's to play those 3 programs more. So how do you like that for investigagtive reporting. >

They have done great jobs in giving us USF fans the insight that we need sometimes. Brett seems to get frustrated at times with the way USF does things which is why you will read those infamous articles from time to time. To me, he is kind of like a USF fan that wants us to get better and to get more respect across the nation.

I honestly think that everyone is jumping the gun on this issue. There are still two game left in the series with UCF. Why sign a big longterm agreement right now?? There is still plenty of time to get another contract with UCF. I honestly think USF should keep playing UCF until the fans stop showing up. 46k at the Citrus Bowl is further proof that this series better continue. So, I do understand why Brett wants to keep this thing going with UCF. It just brings more interest to both programs which is good for the media in my opinion. I honestly think that everyone is jumping the gun on this issue. I totally agree. That is why I don't understand why Brett has gone to such means to try to embarrass and obstruct the progress of the program. So he found some scratch sheet that has some teams he's not interested in......why go to the trouble of publishing that...are there 2 for 1 with these....I don't know....I doubt Brett knows....but by publishing that it sure makes Leavitt and co. look like morons. We got both announcers, Trev Alberts and whoever the other guy was, on CSTV saying.....Yeah look at this game, look at this rivalry. Why does Leavitt think they are better than this team. Why do they want to play Buffalo and Ball State more? Sure maybe at 1st glance that work sheet doesn't make much sense but it's easy to jump to conclusions when you don't have all the facts. So far I have been happy with what Wollard has done with scheduling....so I say hey Brett don't jump the gun, let's let this series play out and see what REALLY happens but you might as well have Brett and Fennelly over with Biachi all working for UCF they way they acted this past week. The only one who appears to have been civil in this whole scheduling this was Greg at the Times and for that I give him props.

It builds until they start saying Leavitt thinks this and that-- regardless of what he says in his weekly press conference. They are trying to create some sort of buzz because they don't think the game or teams themself have enough to carry it or to sell newspapers I guess. Call the Athletic Department and ask for a copy of any documents pertaining to future schedules. You might try the Sports Information Department first, and ask for the same document Brett referenced in his article. For some reason you seem to believe the document Brett used is posted somewhere on the internet. It's not. It's probably a Word document on a hard drive at USF -- which makes it a record open to public inspection, just like any other document on a USF computer. Brett asked for it because Florida law requires USF to provide a copy - at reasonable expense and in a reasonable time. The fact that YOU have not seen it does not mean it does not exist. Some have alleged that Brett makes stuff up -- I don't think so... but why would he make up something that someone -- ANYONE -- can verify with a little leg work. Oh, sorry. I forgot. Some people on here want their information spoon fed to them.
