I don't think so.  It is my opinion that for the league's national perception of strength/power, the conference standing should look like the following by seasons end.1.  WVU or UL - 12-0/7-02.  WVU or UL - 11-1/6-13.  Pitt - 10-2/5-2IMO Pitt at third gives the BE more national strength exposure than our Bulls due to there NC back in the 70's.4.  Rest of BE- 8-4/4-3  I'd expect the Bulls to be here.5.  Rest of BE6.  Rest of BE7.  Rest of BE

We haven't started the season...we haven't named a QB...our starting RB has yet to play a down of NCAA football...Our best Olineman is not assured of playing...and we're starting a whole new slew of WRs.Threads like this aren't really needed until when/if we're 10-0 going into UL and WVU. All it does is give fuel to guys like Smazza to come in an rip the program.

I'd say "no"... the Big east will only ever have 1 bcs team at a time.
Guest
From an objective perspective, I would probably agree. A 12-0 WVU team would be in the hunt for the national championship - especially starting the year at #7 in the Coaches poll. (Use the Coaches' poll because AP is not part of the BCS).It is also possible that an 11-1 Louisville could finish the year in the Top 10 and might be a pick for a 2nd BCS bowl. That is a stretch and would take a lot of help... but it's "possible".As for Pittsburgh, I am not 100% sure. They were roundly criticized in the 2004 season when they lost to Utah in the Fiesta Bowl. A 3rd place Pitt or USF would be about equal right now.

And I haven't started a topic in a while and felt like doing so.  Next time I'll try & do better.  Could you do me a favor Joe...post the rules for posting criteria by date so I'll know the precise rules.  Oh and Joe, next time if you don't like the **** topic/post/poll, don't click or post to it.  That's what I'd do.
