Saturday Night: Musberger/Herbstreit/Davie

Saturday Day Big Game: Nessler/Paul MaGuire/Bob Griese

Saturday or Sunday Night ESPN: Mike Patrick/Todd Blackledge

Thursday Night: Chris Fowler/Kirk Herbstreit

What really stinks about this is Gameday will probably be at the Saturday Night locations which is all the same schools pratically. Gameday was one of the last untainted items that the pirates at ESPN hadn't F'd up...looks like thats out the window. Say hello to hours of promotion of the Big 10/Big 12/ACC (their 3 biggest contracts).

You weren't thinking we'd be "Gameday" material, were you?

No!

I'm just complaining because it is the 1st step of ESPN screwing up the one show I can actually handle. Gameday will just become hype around their 8pm ABC Saturday nIght game if something like this happens. Kinda kills what the show has done in the past.

NFL Live is a joke...it's on all the freaking time and tries to explain the intracacies of the NFL to average viewers. The program is usually geared to not cause too much contraversy and get on the bad side of the NFL thus the Rush Limbaugh (who I hate anyway) firing.

Baseball Tonight has tried to take a similar approach, all Yankees/Red Sox/Cubs/Cards/Mets.

Hockey doesn't exist except for a 2 minute Sports Center Segement.

And Sportcenter! You cannot even get the Highlights with scores anymore. They're too busy hyping whatever is on ESPN/ABC be it basketball, Indy 500 (you'd think people cared about it with teh Danica coverage), etc.

Gameday was the last show that actually didn't bow down to ESPN's new model of entertainment. They went on site to games that were being shown on NBC, CBS, FSN, they even went to I-AA games twice. You saw signs of it last season, they are gonna screw that great show up.

Well they catch a break because ND plays at Georgia Tech, Michigan State, and USC next year, (ABC televises all three games).  I imagine Gameday will be at the GT game and the USC game.  Not sure what other games are on the day ND plays Michigan State, but it will be a night game this year, so there is a chance of that one too.  As it turns out all three of these ND games are slotted for primetime (8 EST).
