has stepped his game up big time lately!  I am confident that if he wasn't callled for traveling at the end of the game that he was going to nail that three!  He has been shooting lights out.  It is a positive for next year I believe.  With Chris Howard at PG, the Arizona tansfer at SG (Viego?), Melvin at the 3, McHugh at the 4 and kentrell Gransburry at Center and not  to mention Dennis, Cann, Curry (FR) and yes even Capko coming off the bench that we will probably win some of these close games!  I can only hope history does not repeat itseld - injuries and players leaving.

Kid has to be half decent  Gene Keady (sp?) is a respectable coach and gave him a scholarhsip.

As long as Buckley puts in full effort... he will remain confident and be a good player.  When he gets down on himself... you can really see it affect him.  He should do well next year.

I doubt very much that you will see Mattis start next year.  I would expect Aris Williams(Valpo Transfer) to start at the 4.  I think Mattis is the kind of player you would like for your sixth man to give a spark not really as a starter.

I agree Phil...  Mattis is the spark-plug type... although i do hope he gets a ton of minutes as he is so valuable defensively.

Thanks for bringing up the point about Mattis, so I didn't have to. also, I guess you weren't paying attention last night when Buckley doinked all those three's off the rim in those extended droughts?
