Well aware of that. What they're saying is also pretty accurate. Doesn't change what I said though in hoping they're proven wrong.

I love the feel of this game. Their fan base is coming across as overconfident and we are being reserved. One can only hope that the players for each team are processing the press clippings and public sentiment in a similar manner. We haven't been underdogs like this since the Florida State game in over 20 games. USF football has always done the most damage when least expected to do so.

Really hoping the players and coaches can put it all together for 4 quarters this weekend.   Houston will be able to match us athlete to athlete so coaching, intensity, discipline, and execution will be what wins or loses us this game.  We aren't going to out athlete Houston so we need to bring our A game.

This! Been preaching this all weak, the only chance we have is ball control (yes...run the **** ball). USF does not win a shootout against Houston.

At this point I'd settle for 2.5-3 quarters, but I know even that wouldn't be enough. I feel like, given the season so far, A-game for 4 Q's is just a pipe dream. We owe them a heartbreaker though.
