Hurricane Florence

(I know this topic might be moved, sorry)

So Hurricane Florence is gonna head for the Carolinas this weekend... and could linger inland for a few days.  Looks like it will get to the coast Thursday evening... just ahead of the Boston College at Wake Forest game.

Other games that could be impacted if the storm lingers until Saturday... or could at the very least delay travel.

UCF plays at UNC, I wonder if they will have an ACC game canceled for the 2nd year in a row because of a Hurricane

ECU heads to Va Tech... and Duke heads to Baylor... if they're gonna go...

WVU is at NC State...

Southern Miss is supposed to play at App State...

Coastal Carolina is supposed to host a game Saturday...

Marshall is at South Carolina...

Georgia Southern is at Clemson...

Old Dominion is at Charlotte...

It would be a blessing for ECU and NC if those games are cancelled. If a Cane was going to impact games this would be the best week as most of the games are terrible. Week 3 of college football is typically the worst week of the season.

Those pricks totally could have rescheduled that game.  I hope they do cancel this next game, only to need it later in the year and not be able to get it.

ECU at Va Tech -- Still pending

USM at App State -- Still on

Coastal Carolina moved their game to Campbell University... on Wednesday

Marshall at South Carolina -- Still on, although the USC campus is closed

Georgia Southern at Clemson -- Still on

Old Dominion at Charlotte -- Still on

Just saw a guy at Costco with UNC gear and told him the hurricane was saving them a beat down. As much as I hate UCiF they would put up 50 on them.

I see a few other affected games so far:

Norfolk State at Liberty is postponed to 12/1

Boston College at Wake Forest will still play Thursday but the start has been pushed up to 5:30pm

Ohio at Virginia are talking to possibly play the game at Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville

and our week one opponent Elon at William & Mary is postponed and trying to reschedule
