Man, some of those people are worse than us as they are predicting Blake is going to carve them up in a high scoring game. I saw the GT and they looked good. Just goes to show the mentality of home fans sometimes.

well these warm games just don't show you much of actual potential. I mean-- the athletes are clearly better and it sometimes almost looks easy-- like breaking away or running through tackles.

They put a good beating on Alcorn state. I respect their ability to run. Did not see practically anything from them in the highlights as far as a passing game is concerned. We had to atleast respect the passing game from Elon-- though it was subpar at best compared to our conference mates.

I think this will be an interesting game. Our D is without doubt the one we need to come through though. Nice that GaTech fans aren't just dismissing old little nobody USF.

BB did well against a lower level team. That's about it IMO, which is a  lot better than not doing well!!!

Yeah I have been seeing the opposite. Predicting a 20 point victory for GT and saying we aren't good...

Watched the entire Ga Tech game and nothing about them scares me.  They actually had a lot of trouble moving the ball over the first couple of quarters and their passing game isn't that good.  They play bad pass defense, it's just Alcorn State literally was outmanned on defense.  I don't think they can beat us.  Not me being a fan boy, I just don't they're that good.  Too many holes in their defensive secondary.  Alcorn State had guys open but their QB is subpar.  I think we score 40 on them.

Yes he had many open opportunities and missed. Could have kept gt off the field much more than they did. Their defense was flying around but burn them a few times and that will offset that motion.

That's literally my take from what I observed.  Looking at some of the comments from our people, I wonder if anyone actually watched them play or is just going by reputation and conference.  I don't think they can stop us at all.

I get that it was Elon, but our offense was so freaking smooth the first half and start of the second. I’m also thinking Elon will end up being a good fcs team this year. Now we’re talking about a GT team that had 5 wins last year. Yesterday they had 2 fumbles and were intercepted once as well. I can’t see them hanging with us once the game gets going.

I said this in another thread. We'll put up 35 pts/500 yards on anybody on our schedule. I'm just not confident these guys can get enough stops. At least based off of last night's performance.
