Not a good excuse. The other teams have their own blogs and areas. And the stories about usf are littered with uf references. The most recent story from JK about auggie's post game speech was more of a tribute to tebow.  Why would fans of another school want to read constant gushing about another?

I believe TBT just went through a format change. all those articles are written by Knight. Perhaps with feedback they will change it.

It's a tough industry to be in and more consolidation will happen. Less reporters covering more subjects.

Personally I appreciate their efforts. He is willing to ask the tough questions of the coaches. It's not just a PR piece.

Correct. Just wait until we become like Cincy and have no beat writer due to the demise of the newspaper industry. Then the whiners will really start crying but from a different perspective...no coverage.

If our fan base demanded better coverage, we'd get a better beat writer. Our local fan base is rather quiet on multiple fronts. It's as simple as that.
