Calling Cars 85 and 89? Are You Out There?

Has anyone seen Mitchell Wilcox or Elkanah Dillion?  Two of the most impressive sizes on the team and I've hardly heard a word from either all season.

Been disappointed in Wilcox on special teams.  I always thought he was a good blocker...but i was wrong. He is a big body, and has shown promise with some nice plays, but not consistent.

I can count the number of times they have actually been open on one hand.

Wilcox is a good athlete, but he'll somehow catch a ball while upside down and getting sandwiched by two defenders, but he'll drop a pass near his chest on an open route near a sideline or something. I can't tell if he's really athletic or not, he has the measurables.

After reading a blog breaking down our blocked kicks, I stared at every field goal and punt from both teams Saturday night. Watching the Houston guy on the end (don't know if it was a TE or what), use his technique to hitch step and put his leg out to keep our rushers from blocking a FG or whatever, and seeing our guy do it, he executed on Sat night, but still not sure if he's bad at executing or if the coaching is not that great on special teams (leaning latter after our ST issues).

 

Dillon is non existent but that's what depth charts and schemes will do to someone.

With the offense we run i really don't know how we aren't running play action and hitting these big guys up the seam when the LB's come down hill.

I thought this before, but now I'm more convinced, I don't think Q can see the middle of the field very well.  Since that's where the TEs live, that could be the reason.

He had no problem finding them running free up the seam last season......

I'm not sure there were a lot of passes in the middle of the field last year either.  IIRC, that was a point of contention on here.
