Coaching Adjustments made by Temple

Temple coaches game planned for Flowers by putting Haason Redick in to more a LB and limiting his up field rush.  When we went full house back field they made the adjustments even though they hadn't practiced it in 8 weeks.

Coaching does matter.  I wonder what USF defensive coaches are doing this week to slow down Navy

It almost seems as if we're trying to get by purely on athleticism and talent rather than having a game plan along with those things.

It's amazing how the long ball is no longer available to us. Early in the season we would get two or three a game. Been a while since we've had one.

We still get receivers open deep.

It's been obvious for CWT's entire tenure that he and most of the staff are more concerned with the Jimmy's and Joe's than the Xs and the Os.

I would tend to agree with this.  It appears CWT believes he can out athlete other teams with his baymade players.  

CWT needs to surround himself with some quality coordinators.  Problem is I don't think we can afford to.

We have had chances with deep ball we don't take many chances though and again the middle is open but we don't attack it.

Flowers does seem to be a little gun shy with deep ball
