I watched a few minutes of Temple vs. the gnats, and I heard the same names from last year (their QB, RB, WR...)

How has their team changed from last year, when they were a good team?

Graduated most of that top defense, including tackle machine LB Metakavich (sp?) They still have a very good running attack.

They lost at least 2 starting WR, and their defense has taken a significant step back with the loss of Matekavich

So defense is worse than the one we torched last year...hum as long as our defense keeps them in low 20s we got this.

Temple fans seem to be having similar problems with poor attendance. I doubt that there will be much of a home advantage for them:

Big game - USF

Well, doesn't this upcoming Friday night game at home suddenly take on massive importance.  I certainly hope this game gets the 'Notre Dame' treatment around campus and to all Temple alumni.  However, I wonder what the 'not going to the game excuses' will be?

  • It's a Friday night!
  • It's at night!
  • It's cold!
  • It's not at a real home stadium!

Forgot what game it was, they looked worse than ours.

Back to football. I echo what everyone else noted above.

Our fans complain that it's at noon and it's too hot

Their fans complain that it's at night and it's too cold
