It's time for USF and Tampa leadership to get behind this team.  I've questioned USF Athletics and Alumni's marketing efforts.  Attendance cannot be a grassroots efforts of current ticket holders engaging their friends.

How about going after Fifth Third Bank's Brian Lamb (USF Alumni) to do something to help drive attendance?  How about Bob Buckhorn (Penn St. Alumni) engaging city officials/businesses to support the Bulls?  Ex-Mayor Pam Iorio (USF Alumni) was a fixture at USF games during her tenure.

CWT and his team have done their part to this point.  They have an entertaining product now it's time for more USF and the city of Tampa to do their part.

Go Bulls!

Again, it's been proven that an OCS does not increase attendance.  Getting ranked might, because to the casual fan, just saying this team is good, is one thing, but a ranking is something tangible to them.

Actually I disagree with that assumption. USF football deserves a chance. 20k fans in a 40k OCS stadium looks better and brings in more cash flow than 20k at 65k RJS. So in theory, OCS will be better long term route.

The way it looks and an actual boost in attendance are two different things.  BTW, I agree.  I think it's time for an OCS announcement (maybe after our being invited to the Big12 announcement).  I'm just pointing out that there's no empirical data out there that supports the idea that attendance will increase solely by having an OCS.

Agreed!!  An announcement within the next two years will be great!! Take time to build it as USF has great RJS stadium to use in mean times.

UCF is having better attendance than us and they are coming off of a donut season...they have an OCS.

If it is about perception build it at 27-30k. I would argue that with the current state of the fan base anything more than 35k is overkill.

UCF doesn't announce actual attendance.  I've linked articles several times with data supporting the fact that an OCS does not increase attendance.  I'm too lazy right now to do it again.
